- So we really wanted to get a few more acres seeded which started out pretty well but finished quite terribly!.. Mike doesn't get mad at himself very often (like a few times a year) but Mike was very upset with himself over this one.. 🤦🏻♂️😠
Oh well, let's take a few minutes to blow off some steam and get cracking on a resolution!

That last little stunt, if you were working for me, I’d fire you!!
Don’t worry he own this equipment he can do whatever he wants with it 😂
Personal rule of thumb, cat tails and water+airseeder=bad news. To be completely honest I was really impressed how well you crossed the 1st time. Braver than I am and I have a baby sized seeder lol.
At least we got to see the 1st stuck. Lol. Your wife would had known better. Miss seeing the wife and kiddo in the busy season
Growing durum around there you better have your dryer ready, because majority of the time if you want even decent quality you got to be taking it off well before it’s dry
I think if I was almost done seeding I would have gone for it, but just starting, I would have left it for last area.
Stay tuned. This is going to be interesting
Mike you can go into setup of your implement in 4640 display and change coverage map trigger to "auto track" at least then your coverage map on JD display may be abit tidier. 👍🏼
impressive / see a long walk to the truck and a 9380 coming to the rescue
Would be interesting to see the planted map last year vs. the map this year of that farm side by side.
Hey Mike, I think this is a "recovery job" for Ernie.😉
Wow, I am perplexed by the compulsion that overcame discretion in this instance. 😳 good luck 👍
I agree with you completely.... THAT WAS TERRIBLY DUMB.....
Canada has gone to hell, mother's day is forgotten, and pride day is celebrated... terrible... Eastern Europe is still fighting this horror
Hey Mike ,From down East glad to see you again at cropping season . I hope your getting rain out there .We just got rain now June 6 from 5 weeks ago. Good lucky with cropping this year Mike. I hope you did well over the winter selling crops to pay bills and stay a head of the game .I use to do what your doing now
The first muck hole looked worse than the second one. The property is an amazing amount better. Great Work!
Hello from morocco, we love durm here it makes a very tasty bread, and couscous
You are right. Mike is commited.
I did the same thing...just uploaded my video this morning lol
Good content Mike. It sucks to be stuck with nobody to pull you out.
Mike you should've let the track pressure down for more traction 😅😊
Mike you sent it waaay to hard. 😂 This is gonna be a whole video in itself pulling this boat anchor out. ✌️
You’re awesome Mike! Hahaha hope you have a great season!
The ticks are horrible in Vermont this year. No, they can’t jump or fly. They “reach” and transfer from the grass or low hanging branches, but they have a mission, and are good at it!
The only Animal i realy hate.
Dukes of hazzard with a 1167 fent her we go lol
Risk it for the biscuit! Hopefully it came out OK. 🤞
Thank you Mike !!! Awesome content 🤩
Can’t wait for part two.
Mike supplying soba noodles to all of Tokyo.
We haven’t started planting yet in west Texas, though some farmers have. We’ve gotten like 6 inches in the last two weeks.
Not having anything close to pull you out I think I would have left that little bit of acres. But you gave it a good try Mike.
At At least you got the 5 acres done, and you have use waiting till the next video. Great video keep up the awesome work you do with your family and crews
It’s was bad that’s for sure but your hard work made it very usable good job mike stay safe my friend …..hello chapel
9:53 LEE's giggles are highlight of this video LMAO.
Bad News Bears😂. Mike you rarely fail to bring a smile to my face! Sorry you made the stuck list.
Mike, that was big!
looks like a job for the old red Case IH 9380.
Here in Kentucky dang ticks are horrible this year I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one that gets freaked out by them I’m checking my self now cause I felt something crawling on me thanks Mike 😅now I’ll think all day I have one on me lol keep up the good videos mike
Mike I'm proud of you for trying, because I would have done the same thing 😂😂😂, pulling out a tractor an air drill video coming right up, lol thanks for sharing mike,
Make sure to check yourself for ticks before bed. I suffered with Lyme disease for a few years. It's a terrible terrible sickness
Oh, man! Ya can’t leave us hanging like that!
love your tractor bro
Lol Mike, you really did it this time
I would try unhooking from the drills, unhook the cart from the drills.
Pull way ahead and use a long strap and try pulling just the drills through onto hard ground.
Use a strap and pull the cart backwards onto hard ground.
Then hook everything back up.. Should only take four hours.. 😅
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can't stop laughing. I might have tried it too though.
Should’ve sent her a little harder there bud😂
Best video this year !
That's a bummer 😕
An additional tow sling for extra length may be required for this stuck
Ticks don't jump, they hang out at the tip of grass/branch/stick and wait for you to walk by. If you're getting a lot of ticks on you, then there's a whole hell of a lot of tick around your field.
And at this point in time. Mike is secretly wondering how long it would take to get another drill up to the farm. So he can just leave this one until the fall.
Well you got your first stuck out of the way. Had to make it a doozy
I'm sorry, but what did you expect to happen? I mean, there is cattails and water. :)🤣🤣🤣🤣
What about Lee's job with the implement dealer? Is he getting some time off to help with planting on the north farm?
wow that M A N engine burns a lot of def
I just knew the Fendt would pull it through. 😃
Mike I have a question. Does this count as a Stuck?
Stucks only apply to the south farm, so any heavy mudding on the north farm is not included
Is it possible to fold it before you go through or will that just bog it down quicker?
Def is 1-2% of fuel use typically. Ive seen 3-4% on hard pulls.
So you should only be using 4-8 gallons per day.
If using 100L then something is wrong and just sticking open on the injector
Hey! Not nice ending the video before pulling it out!😂
So when a section or sections turn off do your metering augers slow down or are you over seeding when one or more sections are off
Howdy Mike
In Ireland we say would you risk it for a Biscuit, not for the whole of Jacobs.
Great title.😀😀 How did that workout for you???
At the beginning of this video when you said you'd not been stuck yet, your fait was already sealed.😅😅
My record 63 ticks after i took a shower. Those 63 were already holding strong. They were very small though, i must have stepped into some nest or similar.
🔥right on mike, very nice tire, looks like rock truck tire or something🔥please bring the laughing back man. It’s you, so need that personality 🔥👊🔥⚙️🏍🔨🚜
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Until next year
This stuff only happens when you have someone else in the cab, watching you. Especially if they already have a stuck for the year. I think Lee told you you couldn’t make it, then the games begin. Thanks for the Videos, Mike and Lee. Hopefully you are unstuck by the time the video was released.
Rolled the dice one to many times
What happened to the 40ft smaller drill you bought for the small wetter areas last year then or maybe it was a 30 footer
Lee probably thinking, dang it Mike....
There is a reason I never get stuck- i never risk it, as it not only causes delays but may break something expensive, or a lot of cleaning in the seed drill.
Second is we repair field drainage systems a lot :)
Also I am often the one on rescue duty, eww, mud on everything. Often rescuing from obviuosly dumb easily avoided situations.
Well actually I got stuck once: combine driver planned nice filling up of my teailer on the quicsand, trailer almost flipped over :)
Good day good sir , if you want I could show you how to make that jd monitor record button work. Easy as 123. Only need one small relay Work switch is already there just need to activate with a dry contact. By now you can probably figure it out. Good day
Ticks freak me out too!
My record was 17 ticks in one day while fencing, two fresh ticks already this morning
Holy crap dude.
This early Spring i had them 5 in one day on body and was thinkint it's insane number.
Picked 42 off today while I was at work.
Northern, WI
@@brettharnisch6952 Those “Little Suckers” certainly are aggressive the past few years. I have resorted to keeping a jar with lid by my bed to place the ticks inside as I pick them off throughout the nite. I do a “Full Body Exam” each time I come inside but still miss some of them. My “Tick Senses” are on HIGH ALERT and will be that way till winter returns. 🤣🪳🪳❄️❄️🪳🪳😂
@@gavinperry7237 100%!!! We have a jar on the night stand as well!
@@brettharnisch6952 I believeit a lot of ticks in N WI
Well in hind sight it was a very bad idea. 😢
no ticks dont jump. they do what they call questing. when they just hang out on a piece of grass with their front legs out. they have claws so they easily latch on as you walk by, then they come alive
Mud race 😂😂😂
Whoops!! 😂😂
😅 Lee was bad luck 😅
What do you mean good night video over….it just getting good. 😂
Why do bourgault mid row banders look like some of them are spaced out differently?
Im happy this was weeks ago tho 😂
What is/is there a difference between an Air Drill and Air Seeder?
Was the risk (of getting stuck) worth the reward (of a few acres of crop)? I'll bet most people would say NO, especially when there are no other big tractors working nearby for insurance in dealing with a stuck situation.
Yep
Should have got a quad track
Why don't you use the topcon to steer aswell JD lines can be converted to run on the topcon
“A stitch in time saves nine”
Whoops 😂
It is a real entertainment
Unhook the tractor and pull it back out maybe. Can’t believe you attempted that.
2 tracks & mud is a bad combination. You have no steering that doesn't interfere with propulsion. And given how soft it was going in, it looked wider going out, and, well....saw it coming.
at least you did it with style lol
Le fent 1167 à chenille et le semoirs est la cuve passe et ne passe pas 😂😢😊
mike you should have used your mini drill !
🤔🤔🤔Buona fortuna 🇮🇹
Mike, why did you not wing up the drill to cross there?
Watch you don't get Lymes disease from those ticks
Does this count as a stuck for Lee as well? He didn't exactly try and talk you out of it!
