Gareth, thanks for the response. I am happy with the Nox, but the video you shared with the XP 2 finding that shilling was sick! The other machine didn’t hear it, crazy. Hey Eric, all 3 mentioned machines are really good. I hope the Deus2 can compete with the Equinox on pasture. Because if not then I will have to buy a Minelab, and I dislike Minelab as a brand, although I have never owned one !! Take it easy dude

Thank you mate, yeah it felt good getting this uploaded. But believe me yesterday was a long day, 6 hours out detecting then 6 hours of editing. Also because its in 4K it took all night to uplaod 🤣 Very satisfied though job well done and already editing the next Deus2 adventure

Haha I thought you guys had an inckling 🤣 I just wasn't allowed to officially say. Ive done 5 outings with this machine and my finds rate is still amazing. The MF picks up the small stuff amd gives great audio feedback. First hammered with it yesterday on a frozen foggy wonderland, that is going to be a special video

After watching this I think I could manage it rightly! Now I just need to justify to myself paying the price for it. Now get you back out and find the rest of that medieval soup bowl! 😂
Hi mate, I am a very simple person. I put this machine together in less than 2 minutes. I switched it on once it automatically paired to the coil. I went detecting, switched it on, didnt even press anything and went detecting on the default first program. Only in the afternoon did I dabble with some settings
I got mine on order, I am in the States, I hope I get it before the ground is covered with snow. The square sounds like an Equinox. I have been using that machine for awhile now. That Red glass thing is probably a reflector of some kind. I found a smaller one in the US and it was off a bike. Thanks for the video.

Hi mate, I can assure you of brutal honesty, I've already registered 1 issue to XP - the fact every time you submerge it water stays inside the speaker so you lose sound. I thought id broke it!! Had to blow water out. Went detecting again today n did same again when I dunked it in a stream 😁 Its definitely a great machine, but is it worth the pricetag... We'll see

Just from reading, I’d say prog 2 with a few setting changes may be best suited for our British hammered .

I had the same thought with the silver dagger or sword end. Loved the old spindle whorl. Next time I am expecting one of those ipa's. That flapjack did look delicious. No idea on the red glassy thing.
Our day was very last minute I didnt plan it properly. I watched your video actually the other day, I dont even recall seeing myself in it 🤣

I had an idea it might have been the Deus 2 😃 and first impressions like you said it's sniffing out finds other detectors have missed, the silver you found looks like a victorian cane or parasol top 🤔 just wondering if the remote has the XY screen like on the original Deus? I like this option as its easier to spot coke. Looking forward to more videos featuring your new machine 👍 credit due for putting this video together so quickly.

Like you I'm honest with reviews.the days out with the new machine didn't do or show me anything new that your old machine didn't do the sheep field you didn't get no new silvers out and that says the orx did a good job and there was nothing left for the new machine to find??.but still its nice to play around with a new machine...
Hi mate, the only thing I noticed was those small pewter buttons at depth give a lovely clear tone on the Deus2. On my ORX ths tone would not been as clear. I've onpy used the D2 3 times so I need many months to ultimately determine how it performs. But it looks great, feels great and doesnt mind getting wet 😁
Amazing machine. I think that Victorian thing is silver because the colour but I am very unsure. I think the buckle dates back to 16th 17th century but I'm still unsure. I have one exactly the same that I found in October on holiday. Keep it up Gareth
Its definitely silver mate. Like you say the buckle has some age to it, buckles are growing on me a bit more now haha

Ayup Steven, aye the tones are so good, theres an equaliser in the menu so I can change them further if I want to. Yeah I can see me really bonding with this machine 100%

Hi mate, thanks, yes it was amazing to be amongst the first 12 Deus2 users in the UK and clearly the first to take it out (booked yesterday and today off work 🤣). I never wear headphones, as a solitary detectorist there is no reason at all to wear headfones. But I will give them a whirl at some point
Love your vids mate, very conclusive and they don't miss out much! I would say the piece of silver is an umbrella ferrule, if not a walking cane ferrule that's a bit out of shape...
In terms of the Deus II it looks like everything I expected from XP, as a fellow ORX user and lover, but also Minelab hater lol. I think they've done a clever thing including the ML type tones. I love the fact it seems that the target Id's are the same out the hole as in! That's incredible and the recovery and response seems super fast as promised! And the main selling point for me would be the fact that I heard no chatter whatsoever unlike the ORX and Deus I which almost always have some here and there. I had no doubts whatsoever about this machine but the question now is: have XP really made the world's first PERFECT metal detector??? Well I guess time will tell but it looks a strong start! i love old Minelabs but the Equinox was horrible for me. Heavy, straight shaft which i wasn't used to, ID to 40 ???, horrible bleepy sounds. For me the pitchy sounds are amazing. Can't imagine why I stuck with just a few tones for so many years on my first Deus. If new Deus wouldn't have that, I would skip this version lol.
Hi mate, thats a good question and one I cannot answer yet. I don't believe I have found anything yet my other machines would not have. BUT the Deus2 runs super quiet and the audio is awesome, those deep iffy targets give lovely signals. Yesterday I found my first ever silver coin with the Deus2 and it just so happened to be medieval hammered of Mary 1st. Buzzing !!
A lot of people love Minelab. I've never owned one so can't comment, but I do see those Equinoxes falling to pieces, build quality is naff !!
Good for you mate .I,m going to really look forward to seeing you get used to it etc etc .I think it's a total myth that the Deus is complicated to set up and use .easier than falling out the pub door on a Saturday night .mines a Deus lite it's the best thing without a doubt I have ever owned .like a turbo charged promet 2 in audio disc ,only better .roll on next vid .

Hi Dave, yeah I was shocked when I received the news on Tuesday then the machine on Wedneaday. Asked my manager at work for 2 days off. Done 2 great days detecting with it and yes this machine should do well for sure 😁

Yes these things are a LOT of money. Over the next few months I will be trying to work out if this machine is a good investment OR if to invest in one of its competitors - costing a LOT less !!

Take your time and make sure you are certain. These next few weeks and months are going to be very exciting for this hobby I can tell you. Lots and lots more videos to come, I'm in it for the long game, I want to be a full time detectorist out in the wilderness where I belong 😁

Hi mate I shot this in 4K, what resolution were you watching in? My broadband speed is so bad here that I can't even watch in 4K. Perhaps this is the issue? I had to watch in 1080p
