About time. Finally! I'm enjoying the XPD2. Great machine. My first day out with mine, found a solid gold ring. Marked .999. Passed 22k acid test. 7.4 grams. Sold it! Paid for the 11" coil. Park Mode. Really liked the square tones. Your beach mode is using Pitch, so you will need to check the VDI to dig or not to dig. Pitch is just a depth type tone. The closer to the coil the louder it gets. Nice vid. Last couple of rings I have found, one was a Triton as well. Heavy sucker.
but how do you know another detector would not have found that gold ring?
@@peterbicker8389 I don't use others detectors. I would not know. besides, you gotta walk over a good target to find it.
A, nice hunt, man. I am sure you’ll like the D2. So light weight and no wires, unless of course, you dunk the coil in the water. You should be able to sell some of your other machines, in that you’ll no longer need them. Awesome, A! Keep Digging!😎
I've had some awesome luck with it so far, never been backed up with good finds in videos!🤣 Gotta get myself editing together some footage! I think a big contribution is I've just been pushing to get to some better beaches. Definitely downsize on a detector or two! Thanks man

there is really no comparison between the two machines I mean 1500 dollars for a machine it better dig my holes for me.
@@peterbicker8389 The Legend appears to be an incredible machine and is priced well below some high end, or should I say high priced, detectors. Coming in at almost $1000 below the D2, there would need to be a huge difference in performance and usable features for me to ever justify a D2. I’m just looking for an honest comparison.

@@TreasureOutdoors im sure the nox wouldve too, but with the lightweight of the D2 you might be able to hit more targets, quicker and detect longer before youre out of energy yeah?

Awesome machine! I got the Legend but the D2 sounds like it ran a lot more stable than the Legend does on the beach. Might get it too someday if I don't like how the Legend performs in the saltwater with water proof headphones.
So far for me it seems like it depends what beach im at for the Legend, some seem harsher than others. I wanna get the legend some more love in the water but I need some waterproof phones too👍

The deus ii is an awesome machine. I liked mine so much I had to buy another one. I use the 9 inch coil for parks and dirt hunting and the 11 for water and beach.
I have heard a lot of bad reviews on the Deus 2 I heard its a horrible machine that is no better then the equinox or the Legend. It can't even dig your holes for you.
@@peterbicker8389 well I went out for an hour tonight. Dug 7 wheat cents a 1911 barber dime 1925 mercury dime a broach and an old lipstick tube. That's better than I used to do all day with my equinox. I've dug 30 silver coins 16 rings and many others. Mostly going back over areas we hunted with our equinox and garrett at pros before that. But hey if people don't like them that's fine with me. More stuff skipped over for me to dig;)

@@peterbicker8389 yea it's all good. I don't care if you don't believe me. But yes I did know how to use the equinox pretty well. And it took a little bit to gain confidence in a new Machine. But the hype is real and the deus ii is a great Machine. Pick a program and go. No need to be pushing buttons and tweaking everything. But that's my area and my opinion. And you sure live up to your last name. Bicker bicker. You must be a unhappy man LOL.

Thanks!! I think I use BEACH P, 1.5 Reactivity, 9 Salt Sensitivity, 93 Sensitivity, Audio Response 5-6. (Still learning though! I like BEACH SENSITIVE too!)

I use the gopro chest mount, it can get hot sometimes but it seems to work good! 👍
They are nice machines,but if a noob cant use it ,at 1600.00 they are up SHITT CREEK without a paddle ,good hunt KEEP ON DIGGIN!

is that a 11 or 9 inch coil? which is more stable less chattery deus 2 vs equinox or manticore not sure if you have tested those machines new to the channel . thanks

Just curious I've had the makro simplex for about 6 months now works great except wet sand on the ocean. Have you used thr nox 800? I've got a choice between thr nox and deus 2 for about the same price point any preferences?
I have the Nox 600 & honestly I think a lot of it comes down to preference, I think they both have their strengths and weaknesses and think you'll do great with either one. 👍

Nice machine but my budget just wont stretch to a 2 grand detector I have the legend and simplex they seem to get the job done
Simplex is a beast if you put in the time with any metal detector the goodies will come! I'm still keeping my plex and he's still my first choice for the local parks right now 👍

I think I'm a NOOB so I think YES! But this can be a pretty advanced machine too. I pretty much just put it on a basic program and went at it. I got mine from bigboyhobbies, you should be able to get a discount off sticker price. BUT if I were you look around a little bit try to get the best price you can👍

@@TreasureOutdoors yes but there are different grades of detector. XP gear is $$$$ grade. :)
If you are honesty going to start pushing this completely over priced detector then I will stop watching you channel. this machine is no better then the Legend or the equinox at finding targets. Don't understand why so many detectorists are obsessed with pushing a overpriced 1500 dollar machine off on viewers on TH-cam.
I think he’s been very good at not pushing one detector over another, so your comment is a bit unfair. On several occasions throughout his videos he talks more about the adventure of the hunt, whether you have an entry level or high end machine. His feedback seems to be honest, and if it helps someone make decision on the various detectors he has in his arsenal, it’s all good.
Good grief, he's not pushing the deus 2 at all. He's just like any detectorist addicted to the hobby and having fun with a new machine. Geesh peter, seems like all you do is bicker bicker bicker, I understand why you choose your username. 😁
If anything I appreciate him trying out different machines so when I decide to buy a second one maybe watching different machines in the wild will help some, just enjoy the thrill of the hunt.
