Noah I think the reason you've lost some bass you're setting hook to early count 5 seconds in your head once you feel a bight, as you lower rod do like 2 reels as you lower your rod parallel stop once parallel then drop tip of rod say I'm gonna set the hook phrase in your head then hammer that fish 🐟 😀👍

Wondering if you have a river like that near you? From 50yds before and 150yds after waterfall doesn't freeze? Good luck

yall gotta species change in the winter, fish rivers for pike, smallmouth and muskie, it's actually a great time of year to fish for em and catch personal bests, they're surprisingly active but you have to be in deep "holes" and only Ned rigs and blade baits/ spoons are the ONLY baits that really work. largemouth won't bite though, too lethargic sadly
The mini King is fire. I use them all the time and the best thing to do with them for a trailer you take a pearl white fluke and cut the tail off about an inch and a half and then put that on the hook and use that as a little trailer on that mini King.
That worm is better in the early summer not to great in cold water. It could have also been the color of that particular one but that's old school and they work. The trap probably would be work better yoyo it, I've noticed the small traps don't have alot of action when just reeling them. That rebel bait is a I'll school design and is just a minnow crank bait but it will do a little darting when used like a jerkbait. Been fishing most those baits since I was a kid lol I don't use the ole creme worms anymore though I always get huge up and loose those things lol
It would be dope if you got a BFS setup and caught a fish bigger then the pound test line you were using , for example Catch a 5lb bass on 2 or 4lb line

I have both the spinning and bait caster combos. I showed a gentleman the poles and he bought his grandson the bait caster combo. I have 10 pound power pro braid on spinning combo and it casts a Texas rigged weightless 4” yum dinger seems like a mile.

Next time you do some microlures, go to Bass Pro and in the salt section around on the far end of one of the aisles, they have Steel Shad blade baits. Pick up the tiny 1/4 oz ones
Ur issues is ur using braid on a finesse style combo. If u were using 6 to even 10lb mono you would be able to sling those light baits. Other then watching ur struggle with casting. Nice video bro always nice to watch fishing when i cant
Thats why you should use a BFS baitcasting reel. 1. You could make a video of the new reel and how it throws light lures like a boss! 2. Catch big bass with it and have no problems. Try it you won't regret buying one. I use the black knight gen 2 comes stock with ceramic bearings badass for 70 bucks. That or the zephyr OR the red fox w.e you like 👍 try it out man!
You should have used a ned they have the pre rigged by yum with craws and other baits. But you'll did awesome my daughter really loves your rods and reel combo well all my kiddos do and I think there pretty sick myself. So glad to see you grow been here from about the beginning when you start and lost track and now back watching again. Nothing but fire needed to throw the lemon pepper lol. Not sure what line you’re using but lighter pound test should help out with the action and casting! I use 4-6lb FL or 6-10lb mono on my small stuff, tight lines!

I got a ton of that little tackle and spinners and stuff with tiny grub trailers I don’t get them out too often but they are definitely deadly especially for smallmouth in the rivers of Indiana if they aren’t biting on senkos and stuff I’ll break out the small stuff rooster tail never fails
