Need to see a simple video so I can change my own EX300ABS 2013 brake pads. You did a great job, simple, called out the sizes and torque values. No need to go vid hopping looking for more info. Thank you. Made my driveway job a LOT easier.
Just a heads up for anyone that comes across this it’s a really good idea to clean thoroughly and lube pistons , brake pad pins and also take a look at caliper sliding pins … all should be cleaned and greased if it’s about time for brakes anyway … I’m having a hell of a time with brake drag rn unsure if it’s dragging too much or if it’s fine
I watched bunch of videos before doing my 2014 Kawasaki ninja 300 brake pads, non of video use brake grease on the sliding pins, not necessary? when I did my cars I always apply a little. Also the front and rear pads are same?
TH-cam is full of these videos and they all make common mistakes. You need to check the width of the rotors with a micrometer to see if they are within spec. That rear rotor is done. Secondly, you are putting new pads in contact with the discs. The discs need to be scrubbed with 120 grit emory cloth, then cleaned with brake cleaner, or you will just contaminate new pads with particles embedded on the disc surface. This is especially important if you previously used organic pads. This will ruin a new set of metallic pads. Thirdly, these Kawasaki lines are junk after 5 years, replace with braided lines. And finally, you cannot use a long extension with a torque wrench, you can over torque this way.

Awesome! So glad to be helpful!
Fantastic video. By far the easiest guide that I've ever looked up for working on my ninja 300. Definitely subbing, thank you for the help

What type of tool did you use to take off those bolts from the rear breaks
Why did the brake pads and the link look completely different than the ones you used in the video?
Appreciate it Man!
Is there a way to tell torque pounds without like a digital thing that tells u
great video
Did you say 1.7 foot pounds? Ur just gonna go with 13?

Hi! you definitely could! Just make sure not to get any one the pad itself. I believe they were, yes!
