Looks like the new salt is working pretty well. Got up to 48 degrees here today. Had some decent melt off. Also Hard to believe it’s almost February already. lol. Be safe careful stay warm and dry and keep up the great work. Bruce in Wv!!!
Just woundering since yall have the back drag truck and then 2 or three plow trucks are y’all going to keep the 150 just the salt truck without the plow? If so, just woundering would it be better to make the dump truck just the salt truck and leave the plow off and put it on when absolutely needed such as if a tuck it’s down since the dump appears to hold more salt or does it hold the same amount of yards of salt? I don’t remember also if yall covered it or not but would yall get a reverse camera on all your trucks with salters that plugs and plays with the OEM plug like Brian’s lawn maintenance has?
I think if you fill in those ruts and get the rear of the skid loader more level from front to back that loader will work just fine. By raising the rear end it will bring the front end closer to the salt spreader. That would save you from spending a lot of money for a piece of equipment that sits idle for most of the year
Longer bucket maybe not but you could probably save money and grab a tip out bucket if you have auxiliary hydraulics in the skidsteer so it tips out with the press of a button and you don’t need to even tip it manually. They are meant to help you load higher but it will also get it farther out.
We had connections to get road grader blades when we replaced the stuff on are stuff even the skid loader bucket if you rebuild it be cheaper just a few ideas cause we moved snow also
@KodyLong-e4c yes if you go over there to how far is work he has one there that he uses quite often and you can see how it would work in the back of that dump truck and everything
Iv let the plow drop many times when I disconnect it. Never had air get in the lines and never had an issue. I believe the system self bleeds itself...? Also it pushes out excess oil if it's over filled.
beet juice department of transportation was looking for a product that they could apply to the streets that had a bonding agent so it would stick to the road and that's where they came up with this formula. That's all it is is a bonding agent. Nothing more
No matter how much work and dedication there's nothing like owning your own business, keep up the good work!
TQ is looking fantastic!

That stuff works faster than the other salt that’s my opinion

If it stains the concrete then the property owner will expect you to replace it.
It will wash away

Do you charge more than usual when you buy the more expensive salt?
We had connections to get road grader blades when we replaced the stuff on are stuff even the skid loader bucket if you rebuild it be cheaper just a few ideas cause we moved snow also

ODOT has used beet juice on and off for years...... it works but for some reason seems to be a fad.
