I have this on pre-order. I missed out on the Rogue One version because I spent my budget at the time on Tarkin and the Death Star gunner. Death Troopers are 6"5 (196cms) tall. I don't think they are zombies. My theory is that their speech is muffled and inaudible because they have encryption technology in their helmet speakers so people can't understand what they are saying to each other.
If you read the lore the name Death Trooper comes from a failed experiment where troopers where reanimated taking on a zombie like form. While current death troopers aren't zombies, they are augmented beyond what even a super soldier would be.
Death troopers are specially selected stormtroopers that meet insane physical standards and then undergo classified surgeries to become what we know as the death trooper
I can't wait for my order to arrive. While I foolishly missed out on the original deluxe Death Trooper, I'm not going to spend $600 on Ebay for one when this "remnant" or re-issue Death Trooper looks just as good if not better.
@@silvervalleystudios2486 they look incredible, I think from a pure design perspective my favourite looking clone would be either Commander Wolfee or the Arc trooper, but honestly there is so many great designs out there.
Not to say that the death trooper figure is bad (its amazing) But I wish it came with the elite poldron aswell as the belts with the grenades and poaches, like they showed up in rouge one

I think it is funny that his rifle has an under folding stock and a second stock consisting of a buffer tube and upside down pistol brace lol. Looks like he outfitted his rifle with a bunch of "tacticool fudd crap" lol. If he should add anything to his rifle it should be a decent optic, also the lack of a front sight could be the reason they can never hit hero characters, that green laser/flashlight combo is great and all but wow lol
I bought this but I hated the dirt effects. It doesn't look like dirt, it just looks like brown panel-liner in all the cracks. I was hoping for a clean look like the original release. I put it straight back in the box and sold it.

I'm struggling with this guy. Still on the fence. I really do want him but that rubber piping stuff on the joints does worry me. I'm happy they seem to have improved the holster for the pistol. Good on HT for improving that.

Mine just came in and I have a question about the flexibility in the hips. Does this trooper have a way to take the plates off and remove the fat suit under? The range of movement is meh 😑 but the figure is really cool and the weathering is really nice and the range finder has a little green light that shines on the lens making it glow green
Fun Fact! The rogue one creators specifically hired tall and gangly actors for the death troopers to make them feel unnatural and weird (like Zombies) when compared to other troopers
Really debating getting one. Have about $70 in rewards, but I want to buy only one more figure in 2020 and I’m not totally sure I want this to be it. Star Wars-wise I’m all about Clone Wars and The Mandalorian (Empire Vader being an exception) but I’m not buying every Mandalorian figure.

I keep wondering if they used real Navy Seals to play them, they had a real professional way of moving. like in Act of valour real Seals were used in that.
