    Thank you so much for what you do! I recently got elected to be the Treasurer of a non-profit 501(c)(3) and your videos have been amazingly helpful! I had a quick question (I don't know if you take questions but I hope you do): I'm reading up on Unrelated Business Income Taxes (UBIT) - does this apply to even small NFPs? This one I am currently in files a Form 990-N, with gross receipts less than $50K. I would super appreciate if you could answer that question!

      Thanks for watching! I’m definitely not an accountant so I would reach out to one to learn more but my read is that you still have to file if you’re making more than $1000 from that activity.

    Can a founder be on the board and be the executive director?

      Yes, usually people call them an ex officio member, but they don’t usually have full voting rights in that role
