NikkiReel this is actually not 100% true. Some states only require 1 party consent for it to be legal. Other states need both parties to consent. The legal issue at the time was really hairy cuz Taylor was in a state that requires 2 but kimye was in a state that only required 1. I think that’s why Taylor’s team never went forward with charges. I mean what they did is still garbage beyond what words can describe but “legally” is such a sticky situation here

How was the story manipulated? She did approve the song and the lyrics. The only part she didn’t know about was the b word but she knew about the line “made her famous”.
