fabulous work Vipin, you hv captured the essence of any ride quite well. hope to ride with u soon sometime. probably feb, the africa meet in Jaisalmer.
Thank you for your appreciation.. I’m happy you’re enjoying FolkRoad and yes, I too hope to meet you on the road someday soon.. maybe the AT ride on sand!
Hello Vipin, this is awesome, the spirit of composing music, in order to find the spirit of adventure, I am a musician myself, although not as famous as you, this is the only series I can watch for serenity and not just the haphazard dopamine chase. its like a downtempo reprised version of a metal song \m/ Thanks
I can't tell you what joy I feel reading your comment.. the sheer frantic speed and pointlessness of most content is something that I too am not a fan of.. so thank you for your lovely comment.. so so glad that you're enjoying FolkRoad. New episode every Friday at 6 pm.. see you there!
ahhh vipin ji, kya chapter daala aapne aaj, monday morning ko sunday morning bana diya too many memories turned up again. I spent 2018 in mountains. mostly hitchhiking and walking. i ain't a rider but walker. you talk in wisdom tone. i like your narration more than watching a video for the reason that it hurts to see mountains as its been six years and i haven't been back up there. kiye the kayi vaade khud se but all in vain. i spent maybe a ten days in zanskar valley however didn't find any folk musician there so i'ts treat to watch your determinations now. though rajasthan is full of gully gully folkies i guess. once i took along a violin player from jodhpur to jaisalmer to play for me in the deserts as i wasn't able to pick up a vibe in the city noise. dear mishra ji your singing is sonorous, your writing has a flow, your talking is very rhythmic but your cloudy lil' baritone-y voice is your top attribute it seems. aapke banter mein bhi sur nikal jaaye. stay blessed, cherished. positive vibes.
Dear Muhammed.. aap ka comment padh kar, I've got enough good vibes for the whole week! Comments like yours, which are clearly from the heart and show that you have chosen to invest your time to both watching, imbibing and encouraging means the world to me... to us team FolkRoad. The mountains will always be where they are, so I wouldn't worry about the fact that you haven't made another trip in a few years.. we all need to prioritise as we all should , but every now and then, take a pause.. think and then re - prioritise. The reason you stated is why I avoided the likes of Rajasthan and chose what I felt was the most difficult and almost a litmus test for this dream called 'FolkRoad' that I've kept alive.. if we could do a great series in Zanskar, we now know.. we can do it only better.. anywhere! You take care, keep your dreams alive, do what you need to do to live the best version of your life. There are no mistakes, only decisions which will leave you richer in experience regardless of their outcomes. ❤️
@@VipinMishraProject how beautifully you wrote for me. you are a great soul. cool regards to your team as well. copying this reply to my journal. gracias
I went to ladakh alone. That was my first major trip after blr to rameshwaram. I went there with no plan. Some gears on my bike, wore 6 layers of sweaters and jackets for riding cause did not know what jackets and what conditions. As I said first ever ride. Took my meteor there, which is a cruiser. And guess what, I had fever on way to turtuk. Random people I met on the road helped me. No discusion, nothing. Found riders on the way, rode with them, separated at destination.
It’s on travels like these that you find your confidence to cope with anything … and more than that, you sometimes find ‘ yourself ‘. Without doubt, the motorcycling community is one of the most inclusive and helpful ones. 🙌🏼
Hi Vipin, I wonder why people with imported motorcycles get imported luggage gear. I don't have the perspective, but is imported luggage gear really that better than those manufactured by Indian companies
Hi, I recently bought a ViaTerra hydration bag pack and it’s really nicely made, having said that.. I bought it because I had the chance to see it and hold it and notice the quality as they had a stall at IBW and I happened to be there.. otherwise, I probably bought an ‘established’ brand.. so it’s more about investing wisely based on the credibility and not about imported or domestic. Indian brands are fast catching up… but as of 2020 when I was looking to buy, Enduristan was without doubt a dependable brand and product, expensive .. yes, but then better to save and buy an expensive and great product than to squander a lesser amount on buying a lesser product and the having to buy it 3 times over in 5 years of moto adventures.
