- In this Illustrator tutorial, learn how to resize images in Adobe Illustrator. Resizing images is very easy using the Selection Tools and holding shift to keep the image in proportion without skewing. You can also crop to resize images in Illustrator!

I have the most current version of Illustrator and when it updated I am no longer able to get the boundry box to click and hold down shift to resize....is there a glitch?? Please help I am a total loss on this now.

I have a quick question. I have photoshop and I was trying to resize a photo without losing quality but it's not working. Can I use illustrator to downsize the photo and still keeps its original quality.

When I bring an image into Illustrator and scale it down or up, does it lose pixels like it does in PS?
