Thank you for sharing this video it can provide information about practical side of electrical maintainance, FYI please connect an appropriate regulator to the cylinder and properly purge the hose by opening the cylinder slowly while u connect it to the gas inlet of the breaker, so that there won't be any air and moisture mixing with the Sf6 gas that you are filling inside the breaker compartment. As per standards the moisture content for HV CBs must be less that 150 ppmv and for the GIS compartment it should be less than 500 ppmv. The purity must be greater than 97%. Also note that SF6 is one of the heavy greenhouse gas so the more we release it to atmosphere it more hazardous to environment so we should try to arrest the Leakage rather than top upping it if its heavy Leakage as early as possible.
With out regulator not safe to refill, full cylinder pressure will be more than the chamber pressure , there r chances for pressure relief device to explode. Also make sure chamber is vacuumed nd gas tight before filling from zero bar to the rated.
I can see why so many Units blew up in your area, What about vacuum the Unit, but before You start with that, what about vacuum the the pipe and where is the the connector regulator
Thanks for the video, however during filling process I didn't not see you purging the hose pipe with SF6 gas. Chances are you also top up CB with normal air during the process of gassing.
No regulator on gas bottles. Did you test the gas in those bottles first ? Did you test gas in CBs also before filling? How did you test alarms on falling? What was your procedure?
It's acceptable if you top-up, however when filling an empty tank, you should vacuum firstly to remove moisture and make sure NO air/residual gas inside then filling. Visit our company WIKA website/TH-cam channel if you want to see not only professional product but also comprehensive solution for operating SF6 gas. Thanks.

SF6 contact used for alarm and lockout purpose only, SF6 contacts used in both tripping and closing circuit, breaker already in closed condition at the time SF6 lockout occured this contact will block the tripping, if breaker already in open condition if you want to close the breaker the sf6 contact block the closing

Filling gas from high pressure Cylinder to the breaker without Regulator is Unsafe.
@Antonnov, yes I agree with you. Btw, should do vacuum before filling to prevent moisture mixed in new gas.

Would like to see more such videos.
Thank you, very useful information

Help full... Gis
what is the practical sf6 pressure need to be maintained all the time?
We are running 220kv and 400kv gis in that each bay breaker we are using so is there need to fill sf6gas

Fk you, you gonna blow sf6 into the air you fool
Yes I agree

Yes! Or Visit DILO campany 😉
Sir SF6 charging kit & Hose kidar se buy kare???
what is the outlet size of SF6 Gas cylinder.
132 kV CGL SF6 CB remote se close nahi ho raha hai but local se close ho ja raha hai
Your accent is very cool. Where are you from?
Use proper original sf6 hose
No need of Teflon tape
We use original sf6 gas hose
Unsafe and incorrect way.
Use gauge regulator and b4 filling gas remove air from house,
gas can refill breaker on condtion? or need off condtion?
Circuit breaker either in off or on no problem
It is better to open the breaker before vacuuming and gas filling.

Very good
