@jeff erlsten Wrong hotshot! the `93-~98 MkVlll, then later FWD Continentals, Merc Marauder and Aviator had cobras, Yamaha supplied engines to mid nineties T Birds the Taurus and S8 Volvo all prone to cam gear failures. The Yamaha was every bit as fast now prove me wrong Fingers.
@jeff erlsten uh, no. a mustang ii ifs kit like like 2k. also, mopar used torsion bars which handle GREAT. you just have to, idk.....not drive on 50 year old bushings...

I own an 05 lincoln ls with the 3.9 v8 and these cars can push and swing around corners like nobody's business.
The guy in the charger was scared to death to turn right! NASCAR in his genes probably.
It may be harder than turning left because of the left side steering wheel position.

That was some of the weakest racing I've seen in this series. That Charger was nice though.

That last race wasn't fair the Charger should have been disqualified for not crossing the finish line. The track is specified and any other route is a shortcut. They should have done the 3rd race.
and going the other direction would be a mirror of race 1. Charger out by a long shot lol

The best two cars made it to the end. The old Chrysler's were always the best as far as muscle cars go. The Lincoln had to have been the 3.9L V8 which was a great performer staying up with the Chrysler.
They weren’t bad at 280 hp but I think they should have done better with this car. A luxury car maker shouldn’t fuck around with a cheap little car. Leave that to Ford. They should have upped the suspension and trim on the LS, made a coupe version and put a supercharged 4.6 in it.
I miss my old 1993 Lincoln MK VIII with the 295 hp 4.6 and the speed adjustment air suspension. That was one hot rod with a good set of tires!
Lincoln is fords luxury line just like lexus is toyotas its not meant to be fast thats why ford has the ford gt and the mustang for the reason they call it FORD PERFORMANCE not Lincoln
@@jdogmoney4556 yup but this lincolns can push I own one the sport ultimate trim and dam this cars can beat or keep up with most of the cars out on the cars out there and the one it doesnt beat they probably pay to much for them

@@gd1996 No, they don't corner well. I haven't had that car for over 45 years. Didn't do well in snow, but back then we made do. If I had that car now, I'd be wealthy. It was way too much car for a first car, but it was what I wanted and I cried the day I sold it. My buddy still has an old Belvedere he calls Clyde. She's a 340, but a runner. There will never be an era like it was back then for simple Muscle Cars. Yes, they can make big horses now, but they aren't simple and not near as cheap. I think i paid right at $3600 for my Plymouth. Keep what you got, if you can.

The Charger is a great car but I think that driver exaggerated by bringing a fighter jet to a bicycle race, nothing against the car but wrong car for this race.
why ? 50+ year old car beats up newer cars that should handle and grip a lot better. You haters always say Mopars don't corner, so what's the problem ?
