Top man, great podcast. Got to love a man as passionate and committed as Lee Clarke. As a younger fan who didn't really appreciate the carling cup win for what it was at the time (despite the fact I went), if I could relive one day of my life it'd be that Bolton away game. He'll always be fondly remembered here at blues. KRO Lee
Love Lee. He's a great bloke and clearly loves the club. It must have been tough to come to Blues with such high expectations only to see them crushed by ownership issues, letting our best players off the payroll, and then two seasons of only signing free's. So tough but he stepped up to the challenge. Good bloke.
Lee Clark did an underrated job imo. The effort as manager took its toll on him. That shows what a great man he is. If only blues players had his determination and commitment . Thank you Lee Clark you did a fantasy job you should be proud and will always be welcome at St Andrews 💙🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
He came to us after doing so well at Huddersfield and some of their fans I knew at the time said that he'd do a good job for us. Well he did as well as he could due to various things and at the same time brought some of our good young players into the team. Some of the loan players we got weren't great, particularly from Man Utd, other than JL, but I loved his passion for us. All the best to you Lee.
Loved his passion and to be fair to the guy he managed the Blues with both arms tied behind his back because he had no funds for players and had to rely on loans and free transfers.
Lee comes across as such a great, honest and top bloke. Criticised him and the end of his stint at blues but little did we know how bad the situation he had was. In retrospect, he actually did a good job with the hand he was dealt!
Having to deal with carson young out fit enough to drive you to drink. Sell all the players and bring in sub standard we did not appreciate at the time what he had to put up with the chinese legacy we fans will not forget so has blues supporters cut him some slack
@@leewilliams7052 this comment will probs get deleted but I worked for the club for a couple of years when Lee was the manager, I would interview him after games & do a lot of the media stuff for BluesTV - he wouldn't come out the dressing room to face us for hours, he'd send errand boys off to fetch crates of Carling from the Morrisons nearby, players would complain over his (lack of) professionalism compared to previous managers they'd had (mainly Houghton). It was a disaster. Shame cos the club gave me some free season tickets for working there, I gave them to my dad & grandad and week after week they'd have to sit and watch us get thumped endlessly. Same as now, in fairness haha.

After that run to the fans i fell in love with him 😍
❤ i up the blues 💙 👌 😎 🙌 ♥️
The Lee Clark random player generator. Never has staving off relegation been turned into such a artform
lee clark kept us in the championship while carson young sat in jail

Blimey... he's a brave man for taking this on. One of the worst managers we've ever had... 🤣
If you broke down what he had to do when players returned to their parent club , u may have a different opinion

🤔🤔🤔🤔 Looney Rooney cannot be worsened 🤔🤔🤔🤔
You are obviously a plastic blues fan and have no idea what he had to put up with. Great man and manager imo
@@Campers5 honestly mate, he was one of the worst we've ever had. he was the drop off in standards.
Seems like a decent enough bloke but as a manager he was pretty awful.
