Your bedroom is so pretty; love your handmade lace pillows. Your style is completely different from mine, but that’s what makes it fun. I really enjoy looking at styles different from my own. I am laughing at your thoughts on wanting to hear someone answer back; you need a parrot!😂 My African Grey just whistles and throws kisses at me, but my Maroon-Bellied conure has an amazing vocabulary and will talk to me throughout the day. His favorite thing is to ask, “Watcha doing?” I always answer him, but one day he didn’t get an answer and said, “Did you hear me?” 😂😂😂

@@mamabrooke I bought my first parrot (the Grey) as an anniversary gift for my now ex-husband, who was a self-absorbed, whining narcissist who kept me on an emotional rollercoaster. The Grey fell in love with me instead! I didn’t realize how little love I was getting until I got the Grey. That was 22 years ago, and he is still fiercely bonded to me. Birds form incredibly strong attachments to loving owners; it can really bring love and companionship into your life. They don’t always talk (my Grey is so talented he can mimic my voice perfectly, but he prefers to whistle. And he can seriously whistle! Like opera, no kidding) but when they DO talk, they can say the most amazing things. It’s a lot of work to have five, but they bring so much joy into my life it’s worth it. I have a new man in my life now, very loving- and he loves all my animals like I do. Especially my new bunny. He always looks forward to coming home from work and playing with her. 😊

I liked the planter feet in green, but I LOVE them in gold. Have you ever used Rub and Buff? I keep it on hand to use on antiques, old frames etc. A tiny tube goes a long way and really elevates things. You looked so beautiful for the party!

Ah, gone are the days when I could easily strut my stuff in stilettos and sadly, ballet flats are the most adventurous shoe I venture out in these days. I used to boil eggs like that but then I saw someone put the eggs in the water and bring them to a hard boil and cover them and pull them off the heat, then sit for about 13 minutes. It's nice to be able to walk away when they're cooking!

Lovely, bedding so relaxing looking. ✨I like the cute gold frogs. Something’s in the air I had to clean out a utility closet which is also storing our office supplies…can’t wait to get a cabinet to store those things so I can make the utility closet pretty. I want to wallpaper the whole room. My husband and I went shopping for a new pot for the elephant bush and he found a beautiful tall pot that will allow the plant to drape down (squeal). Loved that pillow cover :) Now let's address the issue of washing floors on our hands and knees ...I too have become a slave to this but only because I haven t been able to find a mop that doesn't t just push the dirt around or leave streaks. I have really no carpet so after washing floors I am DONE for the day :( I can t imagine anyone under 40 washing floors this way with all the newfangled machines out there.i know I know...some from our Gen say that s the only true way to get floors clean...anyone out there have a good mop suggestion?
