    Hey! I've decided to remove the card that links everglow-up's video as she has been involved in certain controversies. Thanks to @shwetachate for bringing this to my attention.

    Thank you for talking about K pop groups using religion concepts especially Christianity like it's nothing... I like the Le Sserafim's music, at first I wasn't paying too much attention to the origin of their concept, I knew it had religious connotations but the music videos I've seen before there was nothing that caught my eye as offensive... but once I saw the Easy video that's when they crossed the line, they used too many symbolism in a very disrespectful way, this should not be accepted and at all

    • @yourleftbuttcheek.75
      @yourleftbuttcheek.75 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      a lot of americans make literal memes about jesus n a lot of pop artists use religious sentiments like come on wearing a cross has literally become a fashion symbol. As an american here noone gives a fuck lemme tell u that a lot of ppl just don't there there are many pop artists doing the same thing lol

      @@yourleftbuttcheek.75 And? Does that mean is it okay to do it? you may not give a fuck but people who are religious do and that should be respected... America has become just too permissive with this kind of things while trying to "promote respect for other stuff" and it shouldn't be tolerated anymore, Christianity and any other religion are not a joke, for people who don't know the depth of the symbolism and what it means, the least they could do is just show respect and not use them in a disrespectful way

      Exactly! The problem is not using the symbols, but HOW you use it, and lsrfm did it in a disrespectful way in Easy MV.

    kinda disagree with your "Babymonster is similar to Blackpink" point. YG is literally just hiphop company that makes hiphop music and hiphop groups. I can agree with, "they have the same music" but that's all there is to it, because it's the same company that is doing the same genre of music...like since the 90s. That's why other companies cant hit the hiphop concept properly. They have their own mastery of the craft and they just focused on it. (But of course, there are a smaller number of artists under YG that do diff genre)
    At least YG is releasing ONE group each gen (skipped 1 gen with BM). HYBE on the other hand, does it while one of their group is currently active with the SAME concept and genre.

    • @yourleftbuttcheek.75
      @yourleftbuttcheek.75 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      YG got lucky with Blackpink and they're trying to recreate that success with Babymonster (horrible name imo) by using a similar sound. Companies do this a lot but it doesn't seem to be working for them. I think part of why it's not working is because Blackpink's success was partly due to their "it girl" image and Babymonster doesn't pull that off. BP already were getting songs that were written for 2ne1. They just keep the ball rolling and pass the songs down probably. And in the end you end up with 3 groups from different gens that sound very similar.
