I think this is true, BUT I feel like it'll be a happy ending. That seems like the point, love will triumph seems to be the true theme. It really doesn't make sense to have her chasing love in different universes only to not have it in the end. Just my 2 cents.

I saw the teaser but need to watch the trailer today! I really hope we get a chance to see the movie - where I am (Canada) there is zero chance it will be playing any where close to me 😢

I think you are right. Based on the plot she will constantly follow Lin in every universe and will keep on losing her in each universe.
