About your complaints about Rocket Riders, back in the day, I can tell you that the Rocket Riders each use their boost only once, so that 70G base Archer can be used to poke them at the entrance and have them boost right into all your defenses. Musketeer also guts them with the burst damage and long range if you consider that. Obviously, this is Artillery only/No Tesla, but even so, I thought I'd go ahead and point that out. I can agree that Big Bertha IS able to compete with Tesla, if only because Tesla lacks the upgrade options to improve burst damage well for actually organized threats. Big Bertha, by contrast, destroys spaced weaker mooks so fast with Cluster Bombs Xtreme, and Dragonbreath Launcher gives an option for hitting enemies with actual HP. Tesla still milks Overcharge and targets fliers, but Big Bertha has the advantage of not sacrificing so much base group control, its disadvantage over the L3 Artillery being slower firing rate which isn't as painful as the 3 enemy capacity. The problem with people comparing these two together is that tesla is great for crowd control, big Bertha for burst damage and the main campaign is great for tesla, until (and try this challenge, without losing your sanity) play ruins of acaroth and good luck taking down those trolls. Also if I’m wrong at something please do tell me (so I don’t suck as much at these games and I still love them)

@@therealmorganofficial I’m still impressed you made it to wave 19 with no hearts loss, I had to nuke the end of the wave twice to survive (was at 2 hearts) then had to nuke the last one once because the boss was about to escape my choke point and it would be a loss if that happened, won with 1 star (and a lot of gems lost because of my use of almost all of my nukes and tried to beat it 6 to 14 times with nothing but loses and frustrating) still enjoyed my victory. Btw thanks for the heart and reply.
Tesla's great for CC, good for congested corners where enemies will be in its range for an extended period of time. But Bertha's cluster bombs that hit entire paths and the infinite range missiles, it has a damn good area of influence. Due to the infinite range and devestating upclose potential it makes for a good final stretch tower, hitting enemies from afar with missiles and anyone who gets close with clusters and splash damage.
Big Bertha is definitely not as good as Tesla in normal gameplay. However, since you're severely lacking single target damage here, Bertha becomes useful (thanks to missiles). It's definitely not intended to be 'the single target damage tower when you restrict yourself to only artillery', though.
I mean Big Bertha has a way of reaching flying units (inspiring the godly Battle Mecha) but also AUGUMENTS the bombs completely so they go in the whole freaking path lane that is in Big Bertha's range. Edit: try spamming tesla in rotwick, rotten forest and hushwood 🤣🤣
I treat my towers equally I keep the weak ones at the end and the strong ones to protect the line example rangers at the end and musketeers at the beginning and let's be honest all the artillery upgrades in all kingdom rush games go like this 1st option of upgrade not really great 2nd option ooooo hell yea l

Nope, it's not. Overcharge has far better crowd control and it costs almost nothing. Problem with big bertha is that you need stalling. It's pretty decent in combo with barracks, if you pile enemies up, but Tesla is still so much better. Still pretty good video !
I think Big Bertha is better than Tesla on long, windy paths especially near the exit because cluster bombs shred and dragonbreath missiles can assist other parts of the level. But tesla is a lot better on strategic points which are surrounded on 3 sides by path because of overcharge
Nah, I am not impressed because I never used the Tesla x104 back then when I still played this on mobile and I only used The Big Bertha, cheap special abilities and great abilities as well. The Tesla x104 is the undisputed king of Crowd Control in KR just like how DWAARP is in KRF but Big Bertha is a really great tower. I think all artilleries are great anyways.

I love your channel and your the challenges, but in this video i just realized something: Technically you are not fully "beating" the game with "just" X condition if your are starting with All upgrades. In this challenge is visible that in lvl 2 you are already using Maxed meteors.
Thank you for your concern. But you are incorrect. I follow strict upgrade protocols in all my challenges. I think what you’re referring to is actually level 3. At that point, you have 10 upgrades to spend (by beating all parts of the previous 2 levels). I spend all 10 on meteors, so I was able to almost max them out. You can tell it’s the second highest meteor upgrade because it doesn’t send random meteors through the whole map. @52 seconds I drop it. On the level right after that, I spent my upgrades (15 of them) maxing out meteors, and the other 2 on reinforcements or artillery, I don’t remember. I’m very careful about this.
