An evening at Lock 23 - Morrisburg, ON (July 17, 2024)

As part of our traditional Wet Wednesday outing, we opted to join a group doing the full Lock 23 drift from Old Canal street to the public municipal beach in Morrisburg, ON. The water temperature was 23C (73F), the current was average (for the area), and the visibility was about as expected. We hit most of the highlights of the drift but kept a constant pace to ensure adequate air for all those participating. Nothing out of the ordinary to report, except maybe some mysterious arrows in the sands towards the end...

Where do you mount your gopro? The motion is very fluid, not jerky at all.

Not mounted, we simply have them in our hands. Our videos are shot on the GoPro 11 (we each carry one) and the HyperSmooth option works as advertised.
