No sorries no disappointment !! Experiments are a learning curve for all. You can take those & make something fantastic if you try I know you can ! Just try ! Thank you Michelle for your hard work & sharing all of your videos with us.
Michelle, I know you will take those coasters and make something fabulous with them anyways!! I look forward to your next project. Bring out the glitter!!! 🤗💕💙
I like the log one,it caught my attention. Sorry about the other 2, but it is nice to see that resin experts have failures also. I'm not trying to be ugly, I still love your channel. ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing what you call a failure. It certainly reminded me that professional artists are human too. The "bottom" of the coasters are gorgeous. Have a great day!
Nooooo. It is not a total failure. Although the white sank, the bottom part is beautiful. I would use it upside down...I love the colours and how it blend together..❤😊
You're a peach for sharing everything you do. I'd love to see more of you making pigment pastes. You could try with dyes or other powdered pigments if you don't want it with micas. I have some powdered pigments I bought on etsy and ebay. I'd also love to see more mold making. Blessings to you and yours❤
Too much white and I understand from Julie that it has to be paste. I am trying to do this also. So I watched a bunch of videos and I am too afraid to do it cause I don't have the right mold I think. I did like 8 coasters seperate 3 of them turned out like mud. SOOOOO I am back to watching more video. I bought some white paste but it looks like it has sand in it. I love that you showed us the bloopers as well as the beautiful creations you make. Thank you. Carol Rowett from michigan
Can you sand the tops to get the majority of the white off and reveal the colors under it then do a top coat? And I think the wood coaster is pretty, but I wonder if it can be put inside another coaster mold since it's so thin and then clear with glitter poured around it? Maybe it would make the colors you can see pop and the white would let you still see the wood grain? I dunno, just a thought I had lol XD
Mine did the same thing. I thought it was because I didn't have enough resin. Like your leftover mold. I didn't have enough resin and was being stubborn. 😅 I just went ahead and didn't wait for my resin order to show up. 😢
I had to laugh because I JUST had the same problem! Well, blobs but white blobs. I was so discussed that I threw it out. Gonna get it out though and do something with it. It’s silly to waste resin. I’ll sand and give it a nice color and some flowers I think. One of the things I love about your channel is that you show your mistakes. We learn just as much from them as we do your perfections. More probably. Right now I’m wondering why my white sunk. It was cooler in my room but I used a med vo and did heat it to 30c. Still, I think it was that. Maybe. I wish they could talk and tell you what you did wrong, lol. Because the resin was thick it never even occurred to me that the white (I was going for a bloom) would sink. Eh, you live and learn. As for the log it’s actually very pretty, lol. I now you think it was a failure because it wasn’t what you wanted, but it isn’t. That’s the other thing, there’s failures, like the white dropping, then there’s happy little trees. Ya know?
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 a bloom. Like the one I made the other day. It turned out beautiful. I honestly think it was the temp of my resin. When I poured it from the cup it was 30c. But I put the inks on it instead of spreading they got kind of…spiked. Weird spikes all around the ink. Then I put the white in. By that time I think it was too cold and it obviously sunk instead of floating. It’s a shame because I was using your mold for the first time. I’m going to try again in a warmed up room. Or put the cup into a warm bath before I put it into the mold/cup. See what happens. Btw, I sanded then tried to put purple resin over it, i didn’t want to waste the piece. Anddddd…..the purple sort of dripped right off of it and I can still see the white splotches. I’m either gonna paint or give up. Not wasting any more resin thats for sure. Lol
For a bloom are you using the Lets Resin fast cure? If you are the best temperature to pour is 33-34 C. If your not using that resin it’s hard for me to help because each resin will have its own “best” temp. You’d have to experiment unfortunately.
Never failures! Learning is always the best! Thank you for your craft and talent. God bless🙏
I think the wood coaster is kinda cool! You almost can't go wrong with that mold! And thanks for the "shout-out". 🤠
I actually love how the log coaster turned out, it's very pretty.
I know you’ll turn them into something special! They aren’t failures, they’re teaching materials for us all! So Thank you❤❤❤
Resin has a mind of it's own. But that's what's so awesome about it 😊
Thanks Michelle for taking one for us and showing your fails. It’s a what not to do tutorial. Love all your videos.👍☺️🇬🇧
Yep think it was cause of the deep pour resin.. too thin. Needs to be thicker. Everything is a learning curve; thank you for sharing and helping us ❤
No sorries no disappointment !! Experiments are a learning curve for all. You can take those & make something fantastic if you try I know you can ! Just try !
Thank you Michelle for your hard work & sharing all of your videos with us.
I really like the tree mold. I think it is very pretty! Thank you. 💐. NO disappointment here! ❣️
Michelle, I know you will take those coasters and make something fabulous with them anyways!! I look forward to your next project. Bring out the glitter!!! 🤗💕💙
Michelle i actually like the wood one. Thank you for showing you videos even the oops ones. Cant wait for the next video ❤
Michelle, love that you show your failures as well as your successes. ❤😊❤ i really do like the colors on the back side of your coasters though..
Thank you so much!
I like the log one,it caught my attention. Sorry about the other 2, but it is nice to see that resin experts have failures also. I'm not trying to be ugly, I still love your channel. ❤❤❤
I’m impressed! Thanks for showing your goofs especially since I’m fresh off of my own mess up today. 💚
PLEASE don't worry. You are a very Blessed artist ❤😊❤😊
I love the wood one, and I wasn't disappointed x
It’s ok…stay encouraged! It could be the resin I’m thinking too…thanks for sharing with us!👍🏿❤️
It happens! Thank you for sharing, I haven't tried any of these techniques but really enjoy watching those of you that do them. Have a great day!
❤ that you shared your fail with us - don't be dissapointed we know not to use deep pour for this and we all appreciate your honesty along the way 💐💐💐
The layers looked soooo pretty! Loved the color combo. We live and learn. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Thank you for sharing what you call a failure. It certainly reminded me that professional artists are human too. The "bottom" of the coasters are gorgeous. Have a great day!
The back sides look great. Like deep space. Possible thinner resin works best. But we all learn from mistakes. ❤❤❤ your videos.
Thanks so much! 😊
I actually like the tree mold alot. We always learn from you. Have a great day Michelle.
Thank you! You too!
Love the time lapse part of the video! That is always so neat to see!! I love the look of the extra pour in the wood grain one.
What everyone else said. Love the wood one. Thanks for sharing your experiments!
They are not epic failures they are gorgeous I love them sometimes errors are prettier than the planned project
Thanks for the confidence boost LOL
You are my Favorite Person to watch learning lots
Aww thank you!! That means a lot!
Love watching you experiments.
It's not ugly I LOVE IT! Thanks for trying for us add some vinyl and pep up the 2 rounds one
I actually LOVE the left over one (at least on the computer screen)...
Well,I love the wood look one..And the other 2 are beautiful on the bottom side..
You never disappoint. You teach. I know you’ll figure out something to do with the coasters.
I like the petrified tree slice
This is an awesome video...
You do beautiful work and you are informative. Thank you 💜
Nooooo. It is not a total failure. Although the white sank, the bottom part is beautiful. I would use it upside down...I love the colours and how it blend together..❤😊
I think the log looking one looks kinda cool
Don't apologize just look at this video as a learning video. 😮
Love how the log coaster came out. Sorry your other coasters did come out as expected. You will make it into something beautiful 😍
We are always learning from you even the best artist artist have failures sometimes

Gotcha 👍 I need to buy other products to do those videos.
You have the talent!!
I agree with you the resin was too thin. Actually I like the wood grain coaster. Thanks for sharing even if they don’t turn out.
❤
Thank you for showing us, but was interesting to see it.
I love the stump!
Thank you I still learning
Thank you for sharing ❤
The back of the big one in the middle has a very clear face in it!
I think the tree mold turned out pretty well. Oh, well.
Thanks for showing, I like the log one though.
Too much white and I understand from Julie that it has to be paste. I am trying to do this also. So I watched a bunch of videos and I am too afraid to do it cause I don't have the right mold I think. Bummer! White always seems to sink I think…but I actually like how the white sank on the wood slice piece 🤷♀️❤❤❤
Wow, so don't use deep pour and use lighter white. Got it. Thanks again for sharing this with us. 😊
Good ones coming in two days 😊
Can you sand the tops to get the majority of the white off and reveal the colors under it then do a top coat? Hmmm never thought of that 🤔
I’ve had the same thing happen. I made my white too heavy or opaque and I just got a big blob or white
Your mistakes are helping others to save money. Thank you.
I wonder if the white was just too heavy for such a thin resin. It’s nice to see ones that don’t work too. That’s how we all learn. Thank you.
That’s what I was thinking also.🤔
Yes way to heavy for deep pour, it needs to be casting resin to work.
Mine did the same thing. I thought it was because I didn't have enough resin. Like your leftover mold. I didn't have enough resin and was being stubborn. 😅 I just went ahead and didn't wait for my resin order to show up. 😢
I had the se rhing happen with white. Pigment, not mica.
They looked so beautiful when they started out 😢
Love the wood round. I'm wondering if the white was too opaque and heavyweight. Just a thought.
Definitely the deep pour, success in two days coming up 😊
Michelle the only way i am able to make this work is using the 4 hour cure resin. Don’t know why but tried all the resins 😊
It worked with my pump resin, video in two days to show!

I’d try to help but I’m not sure what technique you we’re going for.

I actually think that the coaster with the left over resin looks kind of vintage looking, I like km e it.
*like it* lol
What would it look like if sanded some of the white off? Just curious
Not sure they’re in the trash LOL
On those 2 "epic" failures. Putting a decal on them, who knows 😊😊
((Hugs)) I like the dark sides. hopefully not using deep pour does the job 🥰
The video was great, but the coasters were a fail. 😢 hummm, maybe not the deep pour, instead use fast cure? I’ll be watching.
Success video in two days! Definitely was the deep pour 🤦♀️
As I was thinking no it's not the white it's the deep pour resin it popped up on the screen 😅.
🤩
Well you win some and you loose some. I would embellish the coasters to make the prettier
I think you added way to much white mica.
It was actually the deep pour resin that was the mistake, it was wayyyyy to thin for this technique..
Michelle you still tried and still pretty. ❤❤❤
Dear Michelle, you need failure to get success ❤😊
I gave up on these. Too expensive to keep messing up. Plus I honestly don’t like them that much.
Thank you for posting anyways 😊
Probably the wrong white. Zoom over to Pouring your heart out and Julie will give you the 411😊
It was the deep pour, rookie mistake 😁😁
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 it's all good try again we love your work.
I love your failures. They teach us something. Maybe not deep pour resin!!
Definitely not deep pour, success ones in two days.
Thank you for sharing ❤
