It surprises me greatly just how much effort goes into filming a 2 minute scene. Definitely gives me a new found appreciation for not just the actors, but the crew works hard day and night behind the scenes.
One of the best movies of Indian cinema. Thanks to Mr. Motwane, Ranveer, Sonakshi, and every one in the crew. I would specially thanks to Mr. Amit Trivedi music director and lyricist are the best. Please keep making these kind of Gems.
Really enjoyed watching how this magical movie came to life. A true labour of love! Beautifully shot film with easily the best music of any Bollywood film I've seen. I really look forward to seeing more from Vikramaditya Motwane and hope he does more films with Ranveer Singh!
Its the best movie I've watched and felt the story capture both my heart and mind...I watched it for 3 months morning & night...I was in love with "Varun Shrivastav"...even wrote a 3 page letter for "VikramAditya Motwane" but sadly he isn't on Twitter or Facebook!!! but love everyone for creating such a beautiful story and turning it into a "Visual Dream"
I am not sure if the director and the team behind this movie wl ever read the comment section. But I just can't thankyou enough... All these efforts for a box office seems worth. But the untold and unsaid worth lies in what the movie has done to some audience and their journey of self discovery. Poetry, lyrical, literary, realistic love, where shades are never in black or white...but grey, moral dilemmas and conflic ridden passion. I might still run out of words after so many years. This film is a masterpiece. Vision achieved. Thanks Vikramaditya ji. You are a silent gem. Kudos once again to the art crew, musicians. Hugs to Sonakshi and Ranveer and every actor. The making of this movie itself was a masterpiece, with an amazing story of it's own! The entire crew felt like a big family, everyone so comfortable with each other!! Thanks for filming every effort and narrating what went behind all the key moments of the story! Are there any award shows for "making" of films? Coz the making of Lootera can easily be right at the top 😊

I am happiest to know that this movie couldn’t be created in 2007… ft. John Abraham 😊 Ye classic film uske bas ki na tab thi, na aaj hai na hoti kabhi! The simplicity required in the role of Mr. Varun Srivastav, it needed a hardcore actor who looks simple, magnificent & delivers the role with same ease & perfection. It is one of the Ranveer Singh’s best work ❤
Firstly big thanx nd hats off to the person who made this shootng vdo. Done great work Scndly i must say...... shootng is even more hard work than we saw in the movie itself....... like we guess by watching movie evry time Such a hard work
i am all for good cinema and movies like this that dont fall into the masala, no brainer entertainers with that being said, i dont really know why i didnt like Lootera..the movie has potential but there's just something oddly off about it which eventually made it boring (my opinion) :( however, props to the team for being so sincere towards the project...i also respect the hardwork they put into it :)
I find it a bit weird that most of the conversations happening on the set of a hindi movie are in English. I really like Motwane's work but think that English being the go-to language for everything related to the Hindi film industry is going to degrade quality at some point of time. I know Hindi screenplays are mostly written in the Roman script but I am afraid of the day when the writers will translate screenplay from the English version they actually thought of.
