I was little confused that The Lightbringer is also Lord of Darkness... But I liked the irony in that. But now I realised that the only way how to keep darkness under control is to turn the light on. Damn I love this show.
This is the DC character, the one that creates the stars in the beginning of the universe. The catholic version of lucifer translates to light bringer because he was the brightest and most beautiful of gods angles before he fell.

I just hope that with god showing up in season 5 they actually answer questions like why father frank died or things like Chloe and lucifer recount past events in the show and reminisce on them. That’s the only thing the show is missing

Never mind the lightbringer was his title in the calthloc religion because he was called Samuel the lightbringer. He was also called Morningstar
