I dont understand why they didnt do the flashbacks on the show. They did it for when Lucifer finds out amenadiel blessed Penelope decker, and it was good. Would've been perfect here.

Never too late! Season 4 is incredible! Keep in mind the last 2 episodes 25 and 26 of season 3 are bonus episodes that were originally meant to be sprinkled into season 4, so that cliffhanger won't be addressed until 4x1.
