Disgusting I cannot and dont buy from sellers who do that. Put a price on your cards. What they do is let you pick through their cheap junk. see what u picked out and go ok these must be good, let me add a random price or let me look it up real quick. I don't put money into those kinda of peoples pockets. Thats not how you do business.
@Matt_237 this a smart way to keep things flowing. I usually lump my low cards into team or players packs and just take best offers. Might have to try your option as well. Thanks for the tip.
I hate to classify all dealers without priced cards like that, but I definitely got those vibes from that one guy. I also totally understand what you’re saying and you made some valid points!
@overtheyearssports5703 Through experienced I've learned people who don't price their items. Don't put in the work. They don't even care about the sport or athlete. They are trying to hustle hype with not much knowledge about what they're even selling. Hence why they do what we see in this video. Others who don't have much experience on what they're selling usually just want it gone and sell it for next to nothing, especially if it's not priced. Both get it for next to nothing, but one is trying to hype hustle you.
This is my local mall. This was the first mall show since before the lockdowns. Phil Showalter, the guy who organized this show has a monthly card show in nearby Greencastle, PA. I generally go to those. He also has a monthly toy and collectibles show at the same location, Blue Heron Events. I normally don't waste time with dealers who don't mark prices. I feel like they're sizing me up to see how much I can pay. If I'm wearing a Dodgers hat and I'm interested in a Dodgers card, I feel like they'll try to charge me more.

The shows in Hagerstown have very few tables that are reasonable, in my opinion. Most guys I've come across there are trying to rip you off. The shows in Greencastle are so much better. A lot of really cool guys that are more into the hobby than trying to squeeze every last penny out of you. My son and I collect together and have been treated extremely well at the Greencastle shows. Hagerstown, not so much.
