Christmas Display at the Cleveland Centre, Middlesbrough. Unseen footage with retro promotional ads!

In this video I'm sharing for the first time, some newly discovered footage of the Christmas display that used to be set up during the festive period, in the Cleveland Centre in the space under the Endeavour.
I have great memories of this magical place and many people still speak fondly about the displays to this day, so I couldn't wait to share this video on my channel.
Included in the soundtrack is a collection of vintage promotional ads that were used on the radio 'back in the day'.

Yeah it is a shame. The space around the Endeavour was really nice, a comunal space for all rather than just retail.

At the time of the redevelopment of the space, retail was very different and large unit were in high demand. Of course, the opposite is the case now with smaller, cheaper units being more desirable. Large retail units are pretty much impossible to fill hence the change of use away from retail from a lot of them.
