@@jackbauer7285 NHL's average save percentage has been over 90% for 20+ years. There's a big gap between 90% and 70%. For a 30 shots game (not sure if it happens in floorball), a NHL goalie averages a little less than 3 goals against versus 9 goals against for a 70% SV% floorball goalie.
Why does the floor look like it doesn't allow any movement for the goalie? Usually the surface friction is minimized to allow a fair chance for the goalie too
Cant tell you bout the friction, but the way this goalie have his legs placed, similar to hockey, is the main reason he is limited. In floorball goalies usually either have both legs towards the same side or angeled behind him to move from side to side easier.
I have an aluminum shaft that has an abs on it that’s about 20 years old. The blade is still good aside from 1 inch on the heel where the white plastic material seems to have broke off and now it shows the wood underneath. You seem to have played some street and may have a good opinion. I’m teaching my son right now. It’s a really rare shaft that I want to get going again. I played until I was 19. Never learned this stuff. Somehow this junior setup is my best stick. Do you think if I got one of these I would be able to use my Sherwood aluminum shaft? It’s only an inch at most chipped away and maybe 1/8” deep into the shaft. Right at the end of the heel. Been looking for ways to repair it and can’t find anything. When it comes to replacing, I’m getting totally lost lol All those curve patterns don’t seem to match. It says junior mid-X 5. I’m still comfortable with it at my age though. The numbers don’t make sense to me though. I would be really happy with a p29. Crosby or whatever. I mostly land wrist shots and I’m decent at slap shots, but they’re not my go to. If you can give me a tip on ANY of this, I’ll owe you so much. Send you some merch or shout out your channel at the next game since it finally opened again. Thanks I’m advance! - Tommy III
Knees is the most efficient and its the easiest position to use your hands. And accurate shooting is easier so you really need your hands. I recomend watching floorball👍🏻
If you stand, you cover way less. On your knees your whole body is covering the net and that is vital. All goalies do stand up when the play is not near own goal, just to save knees and rest, but when actually playing goalie, they are on their knees. The movement is nothing like this though.
I've never seen sticks or balls like that, but I last played floor hockey in the early 70s. We used regular sticks and hollow red plastic balls that hurt like hell if you caught a slap shot in the ribs.
I am pretty sure its this one www.efloorball.net/p/35531/oxdog-hyperlight-hes-27-fp-sweoval-mbc-floorball-stick?variant-id=193143&gclid=Cj0KCQjw7pKFBhDUARIsAFUoMDYfsH1Lx63kKfaW0eynixb31ioWuz3hLVNeqXREILll5E7wArBYT_EaAuj-EALw_wcB
Obe problem I find with top level floorball is that the ball just flies too fast, or is harder to see than a puck. Often there is some nice goal scored but you hardly see the ball flying in actually. Although nowadays same can sometimes be said about hockey
I.m play 7years goalies from floorball and I want see this guy so much more activity from goal he not movie enough and is like a tree stutter because the floorball goalkeeper belongs and you should be a little relaxed so there are no muscles so hard
This makes me kinda cringe because im a floorball goalie and i play at finland where it is little bit bigger thing and you ask does he know what floorball is. I think im better and im 12

As another goalie from swede i agree
This isnt floorball lmfao. EU will always try to change Canadas sport
@@Eminim97 Then what is Floorball?

Yeah, that'll be my first and last time as a floorball goalie
hahaha you're a champ thanks for suiting up
@@AlexHorawski we know you thought it was lame. I agree with you. Being a goalie is pointless the average save percentage must be 4%

I feel the pain 😂😭
“Do you know what floor ball is?” Lol
Necessary question LOL
Yes
“I got a smaller net because I assumed you suck” killed me 🤣🤣
I love how brutally honest Pavel is,
“Cause I assume you suck”
As a floorball goalie i just want to be there and show him how you play.
Pretty good goalie for a 1st time, stopping some of the Zoro balls like that isn't easy
Thanks buddy!
Right!?
zorros like that arnt even realistic with non regulated blade like that, those saves are pretty good indeed :)

The hockeyball floor is really bad for movement on knees. Normal floor in some sport centre is moveable

Good times!
This got recommended for me now and I can feel the heat that he is feeling XD

Please no. we already have proper hockey in all it's forms. we don't need this silly game

Are floorball goalies allowed to stand? Or are they on their knees all the time because it's the most efficient position?
they can, its just not smart to with no stick

In floorball u have way much more mobility and ballcobtroll in comperisob to icehockey
hey quick question where are you in this video?
10:15.....that one handed move is just pure sick!

You need to have a floorball session with someone finnish or swedish floorball player!🤩👊🏻 i suggest Ville Lastikka, Henri Johansson or Sami Johansson!
The handles he has with that stick are insane.
who else gets reminded of freddy andersen from looking at that guy?
wow some super amazing tricks from pavel ! ultra cool ideas !
Gotta love the Hyperlight!
true i broke it lol
absolutely perfect!!! Greetings from Czech! :)
He should try to be a Bandy goalie next. THOSE guys are insane
Floorball is life
Hey Pavel what do u like better Floorball or hockey
You kinda forgot about the shoes! They make a huge difference
Flagging this for torture. You can’t just burn a redhead out in the open like that... and I’m not talking about the sun.
lol sun and floorball torture
Maybe should have shared a “how to” floorball goalie before ;) would have saved his knees and given WAY more lateral movement
Where is this rink located? Playing inline roller hockey on rough pavement hurts my soul...
Yeah it’s at 4900 yourabich street
