I love this truck. Used to be you didn’t see very many gasoline 4wd square body trucks with a turbocharger, one that runs that well. It would be hard not to be tempted to put some street slicks on the back a couple of nights and go take some money from some unassuming victims.
This thing has all its weight in the right places though, chopped bed, chopped fender wells, even the axles don't look that beefy (but you know underneath they are just incredible), and the Steve Morris twin turbo big block chevy, which start at 500 CI and 2500 horsepower. I wanna know what the transfer case and those axles are made of, cause they hit this thing HARD on the launch with everything locked up. Fun to see.
Square body's one of the sharpest trucks Chevrolet ever come out with. But in my opinion a person trying to impress to much can make them look "not that sharp" too much lift with not enough rubber or not enough lift and to much rubber. There's a sweet spot that I always liked, a square body with 8-10 inch lift running 15/38 tires was my trucks specs. I ran it with newer 350 FI motor with stock running gears. The automatic transmission was beefed up a little but I still considered it stock. This square body's the ticket. Badass from get to go. Hats off to u brother. What was the time on that last run before the tape ended. The one before the end was 2.61
If you really want to keep it light up front d44 with cromolly and heavy duty knuckles a lot lighter then d60 and is still strong enough as long as you keep the tires under 40 inches tall
