JRR Tolkien based many names of characters and places in his fictional world, on the Welsh language. Elvish in particular is heavily influenced by Welsh. Both in the books and films. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Witcher is the same. Welsh has a very mythical and ancient sound to it. Especially when it is sung or used in poetry.
I really like school roleplays. I understand so well now what adults meant when they said you don't want to grow up and it's like a little escape. It nearly brings me right back there. A kindergarten or 1st grade roleplay would be really nice :)

This is evident in the word "three" which in Welsh is "tri", which both developed from the Proto-Indo-European or PIE (ancestor of all Indo-European languages) term "*tréyes". Also, "two", which is "dau" (similar to French "deux"), all come from PIE "*dwóh2".
