Really good point about being sure who your audience is. Some artists whose primary income is through teaching art, will be looking for a different audience from those who are primarily trying to sell their art. Obviously either could be a reasonable market but getting confused between them is going to result in confused, ineffective marketing.

I definitely fall into the category of artist who isn't making a living with my art (YET!) because of a lack of confidence/follow through on marketing - as well as scattered focus about what art I want to pursue, so I'm really excited about your new solo direction!
