I have been working on my creative business for 4 years. It still isn’t monetarily where I want it to be. Actually, 2024 has been the worst year so far. I keep feeling like I’m spinning my wheels and not getting traction. If I do gain a bit of momentum it fades quickly. I am not wanting to give up. I want to get to my goal(s). I just feel like the time frame to get there is closing. Thank you for your video!

I am using it as an assistant to social media; or help me reword things or helping me express my ideas that I can't seem to verbalize. Once I get a response I change it to my own wording but it helps me "get started". I don't use it for art but a form of communication.. b/c sometimes "words are hard"

Of course we want our work to resonate with others, but I disagree about not making art for yourself - if you're not making art for yourself first, then you're not authentic. If you're making work to please other people, then you're not authentic. You absolutely have to make work that resonates with your soul or you're not authentic. Hopefully that work will then resonate with others in a truthful way that has integrity. My other thought, with regard to social media, is that you can dress up what you say as much as you like, but when you only have an audience of other artists you won't make sales - that's my experience of Instagram after 7 years on the platform and no one offering advice, ever addresses this issue.

You make art that makes you happy, then find the audience that will purchase your work. Normally if your work is good there is a group of people who will buy it.

Art is a business . You are a business person first an artist second no business survives with out selling something. You can still have lots of fun doing it because doing any business just for the the money will make you miserable

I’m a figure painter. I resisted Ai for a while, now I love it. I use it for different ways to describe things, like my art. I’ve often thought I’ve used the same words over and over again and Ai adds a different angle or twist. Kind of like having critique time at the end of an art class

A follow is a token off appreciation. All followers cannot be taken to have the same level of interest or devotion to an artist or content creator. I think it's unreasonable to call someone a "ghost follower" or "fake follower" because they lose interest or simply don't have as much as others

I was a traditional artist frustrated with the turnaround speed for art. I almost gave up! Until I combined my tech skills, with my art vision. I don’t care about the criticism, I am planting a stake here and I plan to flourish. I am very sure about this❤

I'm a digital artist. I like to use it for image inspiration and also helping story ideas flow. It's kinda like interesting for me hah

I really like those journaling exercises. It’s hard to catch thought patterns like that especially if they’ve been default for years and years. I’ve made many attempts to start putting myself out there more the last 5 or so years, but after doing therapy for a year and really dissecting my fears more, I’ve come to realize that fear will probably always be a thing in putting myself out there. So I’m approaching things now with the mindset that the creation is an offering to help someone and that takes the power from my fear because is no longer about me. Would like to see more 👍🏻

I totally agree that consumers buy into people rather than objects, but if I'm an artist who hates the social media end of things, how do I showcase my personality if not through my art?
