Why does it hurt so much when i land my bike and why is it so hard to get off of the floor, ive watched loads of videos :)
JCDO Try to land using your feet to keep pressure off your wrists, also make sure your tires aren't pumped to 60 psi, try to stay around 45
Alright so the reason why it might hurt when you land is because all your momentum is coming to a stop to quickly.
To start and Impulse is the product of the external force (what you experience when landing) multiplied by the time interval , which result in your change in momentum.
so impulse = Force x Time
So in other words you need to stretch out the amount of time that you land in order to reduce the force that you experience.
example: a thin shoe sole might hurt your feet, because your feet almost instantly hit the ground. While Thick shoe sole stretch out the time it take for your feet to hit the ground resulting in your feet feeling less force.

i don't think you fully understand and no your shoes won't change much as they are not what touches the ground when you land unless you mess up ....
