Thank you all for the overwhelming support. I may not be able to ride my BMX bike like I used to but my love for this sport and the community is as strong as ever. Thank you Vans for having my back since the beginning.
Scotty you are such a legend mate, been a long time fan from watching X games and watching your TH-cam channel. Really happy to see you doing what you love and enjoying it, the positivity is contagious! As always, I look forward to the future of the channel and how you continue to push yourself. 💪 stay strong dude!
Been with you since 74k Subs. Thank you for the laughs and enjoyment you've brought into my life Scotty. So proud of how far you've came, Never Slow Down.
As someone who found Scottys channel when it was relatively new and watched every single video, almost like a daily routine to feel better. I remember this happening, It's been so long but watching this made me very emotional. Scotty is a true Viking.
Bro, holy crap. I'm in a wheelchair and your the inspiration for me. I played wheelchair rugby a few years back until I had issues with my bladder. The doctors said not to do it, 1 year later I was a on a medal winning team. I didn't get to play long but I never stop completely. I still get in my chair and go. Knocking guys down who are 300lbs plus. I'm 180lbs🤫 lol. I enjoy every day I am alive. I have bad days but everyone does. Disabled or not. Keep up the awesome work brother 👍👊
i used to ride at the incline club all the time, his brain injury broke my heart. without any warning, i had a brain infection that led to like 4 strokes. i had brain surgery and i lost hearing in one ear. i have a permanent hearing aid and am going through a similar recovery. i hop back on my bike but can’t 180 or fakie. his recovery is my inspiration. i relate to him so much after what happened to me
I’ve ridden a BMX bike probably 3 times in my life but I’ve watched almost every video on the SC TH-cam channel. It’s funny to think I could name every trick when I was watching the olympics. Despite the setbacks Scotty and the rest of the crew have built something special. Even though it is a BMX channel, to me at least, the best thing about it, and the reason I’ve kept watching for so many years, is the people the channel is built around. Everyone is unique and interesting, and Scotty does an amazing job of getting the best out of everyone. To me, the best thing about Scotty was never his ability on the bike. It has always been his personality, spirit, charisma, enthusiasm, and ability to bring people together. Take away all your achievements on a bike and you’re still a legend Scotty.
same immediately was hooked by Scotty's personality dont even ride ran across the channel watching motorcycle videos on auto play and they were riding pit bikes and that was it watched every one from the beginning
YES YES A MILLION TIMES YES! Scotty would never do something like this on his own channel, but it's amazing to see and hear respected people in BMX talk about their love for Scotty. And the addition of Big Scott and Donna was awesome. Love Scotty and his crew and thank you Vans for this video
This video made me cry for so many reasons.. Scotty is an absolute legend, but I really miss Big Boy. You can hear his voice in the background of these clips and the amount of excitement he had for every time step Scotty made along the way. Really sad to see that lost. This is almost like reliving my own life in a way.. I've been watching every single video since the start and this brought back so many good and bad memories, but history is what makes us who we are. Really happy where the Cranmer crew is at these days, but can only hope that one day in the future, Big Boy can stop by for a visit and reminisce with Scotty about the good ol' days.
I’m not crying you’re crying. Scotty’s positivity, love for life and love for his family gives us all something to strive for. Even off a bike he sets the bar at the max it can go. Amazing video!!
Yep nah totally crying live few miles from the old incline club been watching his channel since legit day 1 to see the story and progress yeah this one got a gangsta all misty eyed 😂😂
Seeing that first video back of Scotty without his forehead after the accident is so difficult to see again. Scotty is such a strong and amazing person, been subbed to him since 74k. The enjoyment he has brought to my life is something I can never thank him enough for.
Not only do we love Scotty, we love you just as much Matty and sad to say but now because of his accident you are now the Best rider we all know it and so does he, he loves you and watching you is what brings him the joy he has, when you ride = he is riding through and with you 😎😎😎😎😎
I come back to this video every month I swear. Brings tears to my eyes, makes me very happy to see these past few years the progress Scotty has made. Such a big inspiration! Always has, always will be!
This is incredible. As a NeuroSurgery Nurse working with brain and spinal injuries…Scotty you demonstrate how very hard work and determination pays off. I am floored with your recovery. Amazing
Dangit i just finished the video on the cranmer channel i thought it was gonna be live now i have to sit here and wait four hours because im not gonna miss this.
I'd like to hear more from his girl, I really appreciate her sticking by him, I know how hard it is to stick by somebody who has a long road ahead of them, you lose a lot of the physical attributes you used to have going through a big accident like this. I'm just saying, massive respect to Scotty and big respect to his family.
It’s crazy that even though I’ve never met Scotty, it feels like I’ve known him for years. I found his channel about 3 months before the accident and one day I was telling a friend to google him and when I did, I saw a bunch of news articles about Scotty being in an accident only a few hours before I happened to think about him. At first I didn’t even believe it but a video came out a little while later and confirmed it. I’ve watched everything since then and seeing Scotty’s determination and outlook on life has been one of the most inspiring things I’ve ever witnessed. Thank you for being you Scott and I hope to meet you one day
exact same here. found the channel in the summer of that year. didnt think the accident was real. brought me to tears. crazy to think that channel has been in so much of my life
Top 5 best riders of all time, easily. Lets not forget what Scotty was doing 10+ years ago that people still cant do today. Way ahead of his time as a rider. The Scotty we knew may never come back but the Scotty that's here today is remarkable. Top guy. It just shows what morals Vans as a company have for sticking by him.
I’m a grown ass man (36) and this video brought tears to my eyes! I swear Scotty is the most amazing person ever! I’ve been watching him for years and he always does something to amaze me! The worlds yours Scotty keep being amazing!
Dude I'm 37 and I'm crying like a baby by the end) His story is heart breaking. Cool to see him still enjoy life after all he's been through, that's a huge mental strength, I wouldn't imagine someone else being able to do that. Mad respect to Scotty Cranmer!
What a story! My 1st love was a BMX back in 1980 and even though I turned 52 today I still love watching how things have evolved over the years. I almost shed a tear watching this, just as well I'm a tough guy and didn't lol, sniff. What an amazing journey, Scotty is one special tough ass dude. Thanks for sharing with us, full respect.
Wow, it’s 2024 and I remember when the accident video dropped. Scotty is one of the reasons I ever picked up a bmx bike. Fast forward 9 years, watching this video is amazing. Scotty is a legend. He has come a long way, god bless Scotty Cranmer.
Hearing bigboy in some of the old clips makes me really hope they make up one day and we get videos together again. Love what both are doing but it's not addition when they were together it was exponentially better
was thinking the same thing, when they showed the clip of him riding the ramps after his injury and bigboy cheering him on the whole way, they were such a dynamic duo
yep was pretty disappointed big boy was edited out of Scotty's life seems to me big boy is the only reason his channel kept going the whole recovery we obviously don't know the whole scoop but to edit big boy out was pretty harsh he was there from the beginning and carried on when scotty couldn't
@@drumhailer547 I mean they didn’t really edit him out, big boy was mostly behind the camera a lot, it’s not like they interviewed Cory, or Bonnie, or anyone else of that crew of the early TH-cam days.
I was thinking the same thing: you can hear the adoration and love behind that encouragement. I don't mind so much if they don't make videos together - but I want for them to have each other's backs.
Dude this brought tears to my eyes even tho I’ve seen your journey from the Dew Tour, X-games, before and since the accident. Legend in BMX and LIFE ❤️🔥
I had a TBI myself. One second I was driving, the next I was in the hospital hearing about possible brain surgery. Scotty's story speaks volumes to me after the year and a half struggle I had to get back to some kind of normalcy. I watched the channel every day until the X-Games accident, when life got a little too busy to keep up anymore, but if anybody can do this, I know it's Scotty.
I remember watching Scotty everyday as a teenager, waited every day after school for him to drop a TH-cam video until one month he stopped posting and one month went to two until that TH-cam video dropped! I remember crying because he was the best rider ever especially for that age. Love you Scotty!!
I will honestly say this is the one TH-cam recommendation that made my evening. Thanks Scotty. It is this type of dedication to the sport, community, and culture of BMX that keeps a little place in my life. I moved away from DJ and BMX for mountain biking, and then let myself get old and lose that flame. I felt that flame rekindle a bit tonight.
I shed so many tears of joy for this guy over the past few years. The term legend is thrown about way to much these days, but totally fits for Scotty. What an inspiration this guy is!
I’ve been watching scottys channel since day one and it has been an amazing journey to watch him be the best at what he does and to see it ripped away from him and to see him react the way he did and do the things he’s done since the accident, well it’s just simply amazing there’s no other word to explain it. Matty said it perfect, Scotty Cranmer is Superman.
We stand with scotty we ride with scotty. Scotty is awesome and love his TH-cam channel. He is agreat dude and hope he gets back to being able to do some type of tricks. This man is an inspiration and he doesn't even know it. He is someone kids look up to and know never give up no matter what happens. To what you love and give it your all. This man is as much of a legend as it gets.
Vans is honestly the best sho company, I already loved the shoes but the fact y’all stand by your athletes is so great, y’all will forever be my go to sneaker
I think Scotty's winner's mentality never fully materialised in his wins as a rider but in his setbacks as a person. The way he battled through a horrific injury truly inspired me to battle on with my life's problems.
Actually makes me cry seeing all this Scotty has been a huge influence to me through hard times in life. If he can keep a smile on his face so can we. Keep going and Can’t Slow Down
I remember when I lived in Jersey & going to Incline Club every summer every 2 weeks. When ever Scotty was there, you stopped & watched him. He was my age but riding like Mirra. First time I saw him, he did a backflip over the first box, truck over the second, touched the top of the big vert wall, then flip whipped the big box. He came back on the deck & just started talking to his friends. Its was the most casual run I ever saw. I was freaking out but he was just doing what scotty did.
@18:07 "It is not going to be easy, but I gotta do this. This is apart of getting better, it is pushing myself." -- Thanks for continuing to strive for greatness and happiness Scotty, it is an inspiration to so many who want to give up having gone through less.
I was and still am a huge fan of scotty's when he released the video after his accident my heart broke. Seeing the man that was to stubborn to give up on a trick that he was confident with to him not being able to walk and having to relearn stuff was heart wrenching I'm super happy hes made such huge progress in his road to getting back on the bike.
This one of the best Scotty Cranmer tribute video of all times! Still a bit sad Alex wasn't present in any clips other than in voice, since he was such a big presence in the channel and in Scotty's life at the time. But heartwarming nonetheless. I hope Scotty gets further into his goals and that he ends up burrying the hatchet with big boy, because that was the second worst heart break of my TH-cam watching career, only second to his accident. Best wishes boys
Man I remember the minute that crash video was uploaded, I was just crying soooo hard, seeing him come this far shows you that hard work will get you far! Big love Scotty if you read this
Scotty was my favourite when he was at the top and I'm an even bigger fan now. What an unbelievably inspirational human man he just has no quit and is so positive in the face of adversity
Man I’ve watched scotty for so long now. When he made his youtube channel i was so stoked. Haven’t missed a video yet and i remember right before his crash i was so invested in the channel and felt like i knew everyone on it. When scotty had his crash it crushed me and i realized how much his content was doing for me. I was going through tough times but his channel always made me laugh. Scott is an absolute legend and such a strong human.
And this is why I support and wear only Vans. Oh boy, I wasn't ready, but so many tears! Having followed Scotty since he first went pro seeing this journey again here is so damn bloody inspiring, just never giving up. Always fighting for be better, to get better, to be the best. I don't know if you'll see this Scotty, but I love you man, you're so bloody strong. Literally the best!
This made me smile ear to ear. I've been following Scotty's channel for years and horribly fractured and shattered my foot with a lot of other damage last month which set me back incredibly as a rollerblader. Scotty is my greatest inspiration and I will continuously use his example to keep fighting to get my form back. Thank you for everything, Scotty.
I subbed to Scotty's channel before he had 5k Subscribers and I am still here for every video. It's been a long hard journey but the best is yet to come. #cantslowdown
One hell of a video and one hell of a rider. I love that Scotty is still fighting and winning his battle to get back in to riding and he never gives up trying
I’ve never ridden a bmx bike but I have watched every single SC vid. I can name every trick in bmx. I can say with confidence that Scotty is truly a hero and a modern day pioneer of perseverance and strength. this guy did the most insane things regularly. I would like to say that what he continues to do day in and day out is remarkable and inspiring. You don’t know a lot of us but Scotty we all love you!!!
Scotty Cranmer you are an inspiration and a amazing person for all... Not only in bmx but hard work to get what you want can pay off... You've shown everyone that anything is possible... Much love to you!!!
15.17 still makes me cry 😢 you are a great inspiration and it makes me so happy to see how far you have come😃 This video also made me miss Bigboy too, he was there for you when you were down brother. Please reconnect with him Scotty 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
As someone who’s watched every video and watched for years this is amazing to see! Showcases j how great and positive of an influence he is!! So inspirational in everything he does 🥰
I'm sub of Scotty for a long time now and I freakin love him and the crew. Scotty, Matty, and BK so good to have you all back! Can't wait for tomorrow to see how those ramps are coming along!
Vans is the best brand out there. Scotty you’re inspiring. I broke my back a year ago while going over the bars on my dirtbike and been looking up to you. Thank you
He is truly an inspiration to all of who ride. He inspires me every time I ride. I’m getting the hang of riding again but I haven’t given up. I have definitely changed and haven’t been able to do things like I use to which is so frustrating but having someone to look up to like scotty really helps.
ive been watching Scotty's youtube since the start he's impacted me so much and in all honesty i still tear up a bit seeing the progress he has made it is truly amazing.
Been watching Scotty since about a year before the accident. I still remember the day I found out and I just couldn't believe it. But in that accident we got to see Scotty push even harder and somehow become even more inspirational with his recovery. His constant positive outlook was a real help for me during some hard times of my own, so cheers Scotty. Keep pushing as always.
I survived a car accident due to being dumb but this just motivated me to get back on my bike after therapy thank you so much for being a big part of my life Scotty your the best!
I have been watching Scotty since he started his youtube channel. He introduced me to the amazing world of BMX. There are periods of time where I don't watch for a while. But every year on October 12th I dedicate that day to catching up on anything I've missed and seeing how Scottys progress is. Thank you. You're an inspiration.
You know it runs deep too. Most of the crew showed up in a few frames here and there, but not a single frame of BB. He went from being like 40% fo the channel, to vanished… sad
@@trevorjrhardy since he moved to Florida and got sponsored they grew apart. Bigboy started his own channel and started bailing on stuff with scotty. He wanted to do his own thing and it rubbed scotty the wrong way. I listened to both sides and I see where both of them are coming from. But basically scotty wanted bigboy to stay a main member and help out with his channel, and bigboy wanted to start his own. This and the fact that they now live far apart caused a rift. They have both stated that there is no hard feelings but they don't get along like they used to anymore. Its extra awkward because bigboy is closer with trey now who is married to scottys sister. Money and each of their personal desires kinda got in the way of the friendship. Hoping they can make up but whenever they talk about eachother nowadays it's always about how people grow apart. Sad tho
The footage of Scotty in the hospital and recovering is so hard to watch again. But man is it amazing to see how far he has recovered from then. I love that guy!💚✌
AS a long time watcher of Scotty's channel , seeing scotty push Big Boy all the way to help him learn and succeed on a BMX bike was amazing to watch, Then that day we all see that message about Scotty's injury and was devastating to see. Now seeing how far Scotty has come is incredible and i find myself saying come on Scotty you really have done enough now, but then nothing seems to be enough for Scotty. Hats off my man much respect.
You’re a legend man and your positive spirit has impacted the world. You’ve achieved your goals. Keep enjoying life and keep having fun dude! Thanks for everything
Thank you all for the overwhelming support.
I may not be able to ride my BMX bike like I used to but my love for this sport and the community is as strong as ever. Thank you Vans for having my back since the beginning.

I watched the channel every day until the X-Games accident, when life got a little too busy to keep up anymore, but if anybody can do this, I know it's Scotty.
Hope you're doing good
I remember watching Scotty everyday as a teenager, waited every day after school for him to drop a TH-cam video until one month he stopped posting and one month went to two until that TH-cam video dropped! I remember crying because he was the best rider ever especially for that age. Love you Scotty!!
One of the best videos I have ever watched 🔥💪
Scotty is the sole reason why I have started collecting and riding bikes again.
This is the way of saying "Be Contented On What You Can Do" you are the #1 Professional BMX Rider, and you already prove that Scotty
Scotty is a true legend, he really inspires me since I was a younger kid to always make the best out of what I have, and try my hardest
Can't wait to see this vid .I'm not a BMX rider but Scotty helped me fight a battle from my own injury seeing his hard work .💪👍❤️
Pure Inspiration, shining light he is.
shoutout to vans for standing with scotty this whole time you are all amazing keep it up!
Keep going and Can’t Slow Down
Scotty has one of the most soothing voices I’ve ever heard.
The fact that you are Superman to your brother and most bmx Americans should be the highest compliment of all
How can anyone dislike a video with a message like that .. I won’t ever get that !!
Great video !!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 keep going
Perfect title to describe his story.
Thanks for everything Scotty!!! You will in my book go down with the greats like Hoffman and Mirra!
Bruce Cook and Scotty Cranmer are both have amazing and inspiring history..... Thank you Vans and Scotty....
He did nt even deserve a voice cameo !
Wouldn’t have found BMX without you Scotty, we love you man.
Scotty saved my wife a year ago I went into a dark place found his channel and it helped me find my self again thank u Scotty
I remember subbing after his first few videos came ot and watching him through this whole ordeal and still comin out on top
Who would give this a thumbs down? Keep at it Scotty! ❤️
What a legend Scott is! And shout out to Dan Foley as well, one of the most stylish riders out there and made this masterpiece!
I’m so proud of you Scotty! If you ever see this, keep on going. You’re doing so great. You got this man
Scotty will ALWAYS be my favorite BMX rider!!! 🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘 One of the best dudes out there!
Scotty “Superman” Cranmer! May God continue to bless him and all of us♥️🙏😊
This made me smile ear to ear.
#SinceTheSlabs such a big part of my life.
15.17 still makes me cry 😢 you are a great inspiration and it makes me so happy to see how far you have come😃
This video also made me miss Bigboy too, he was there for you when you were down brother.
You forgot 3 of the TEAM = Corey , Dom and Vinny !!!!!
Scotty. Your ability to overcome major challenges has minimized my current issues. Thank you for posting.
Love how Vans is still at his side. Mad respect for Scotty and Vans.
I survived a car accident due to being dumb but this just motivated me to get back on my bike after therapy thank you so much for being a big part of my life Scotty your the best!
Gotta stay awake until 1am in England, 100% gonna be worth it though
yessir fully
same here bro! while you wait check out my BMX Freestyle th-cam.com/video/W2i_TfHtgkc/w-d-xo.html
I have been watching Scotty since he started his youtube channel. He introduced me to the amazing world of BMX. There are periods of time where I don't watch for a while. But every year on October 12th I dedicate that day to catching up on anything I've missed and seeing how Scottys progress is. Thank you. You're an inspiration.
its hard hearing BIGBOY on the video. sad to see that things got on the way of their friendship. keep it up Scotty
You know it runs deep too. Most of the crew showed up in a few frames here and there, but not a single frame of BB. He went from being like 40% fo the channel, to vanished… sad
@@joshmansker yup. $$$ ruins things for alot people.
what happened ?
Exemplo de superação! positivo e forte! emocionante!
We love ya buddy, keep up all the hard work! I wish OBB was interviewed for this.
Or Trey Jones. His Vans team member and brother in law.
Well, if they werent both assholes, then they probably would have been.
You’re a legend man and your positive spirit has impacted the world. You’ve achieved your goals. Keep enjoying life and keep having fun dude! Thanks for everything
Shout-out to Foley. This was so good. Whole epic story put together for the world to see.
Scotty I have watched you ride for years. We love you.
