Nice video, so far I happy with the stock shock and had a buddy adjusted my charger to put out a little over 134v so it will do a full charge. I too also had the same problem with those paddings, I end up shaving it from the inside on an angle to have it tilt in at the top, works great and cleaner look. But so far I ❤ the EX30

Got my EX30 on the way and I'm trying to decide on what suspension to get. Did you notice if there was room for a dual chamber shock? I would love to fit a fox or rockshox in there lol I also have to look into if getting one of these custom linkages is worth it on the EX30. With the money these wheels cost I want the ride to be perfect lol
I did not know you could add a oil shock to the ex30 and all the other begode wheels that come with either air or spring. Master v4 are on sale now, but i didn't get it cause i hate that type of shock.
Mine also says 133. Im using stock charger that says 134.04. Im ok with the 133 i guess 😂. Im going to do the same thing with the pads on mine, i have not rode it but got on and i can tell it will not feel good.
After riding for a few miles you should check to see if all batteries read the same voltage. Marty’s had different voltages after his ride. This could help see if your problem is related to his.

I'm 6ft and 240lbs without gears on, do you think the Sherman S better or the Ex30. I'm so torn between both. I know the sherman s suspension like no other but man the sliders on the EX30 with your suggested oil coil over upgrade it seems even better ride than the sherman s. Since you tested both, do you think the ex30 is better? Also, should I go with 200mm shock since I'm weaver set dude? Thanks brotha... can't wait for your next video. Why am I not surprised you cant keep your grubby hands offa mods on the new ride 😂. Far's the voltage issue, it could very well just be a misread by EUC.W & will eagerly info await more on it. I agree with the hydraulic coil shock upgrade - any issues with spacing installing it as the 1600lb coil is slightly wider than the 1000lb that Marty installed on his Master
yes unfortunately it is actually not full charge, all 4 packs balance at 66.8v. and yes i had to grind down a part of the coil shock so that i could get the pin in the back. the coil fits just not the neck of the mounting area

Why did you go with the 1500 lbs springvs say the 1000 lbs? How much do you way? I'm like 170 so trying to decide if i should go with the 1000 lbs or the 1500lbs
Hey George, when you have charged your batteries to 134,4 and the app is STILL only showing 132,8/133V, then this is NO problem of the charge distribution board. The problem then is in the motherboard of the EX30 which just measures the REAL voltage about 1,5Volt to low! Thats a VERY common and known problem of GW motherboards, as the voltagemeter is cheap and so sometimes having that difference. So: When you use your stock charger, and reach 132,8 Volt or 133Volt you now KNOW that the REAL voltage is at about 134,2 or 134,4. The latest distribution boards should NOT have the problems that Marty mentioned in his video anymore. Seams really like the common miss measurement of the motherboard. Control it once more and as long as your battery shows 134,4 on the voltmeter all is fine.
no, the batteries balance put at 66.8v each. when taken off the stack charger they read 132.8 on my multi meter. once balance to 67.2v, they read 134.4v on the multimeter. once plugged back in they slowly drain back to 132.8v and rebalsnce at 66.8v each instead of the full 67.2v
@@GoGeorge that really sucks then and the distribution board eats away some voltage…. Still something seams wrong with the board when you charge to 134,4 Volt AND DIRECTLY the app shows 133 Volt. I know that “hot charge port protection diodes” eat away 0,6 Volt, but I have no clue where the other 0,8 Volt missing are coming from….
