YOU did exactly what I want from these guys. I only want the OG 13, and a couple of cobra guys.
I did not even recognize Mordo head sculpt, looks completely different with the mustache, good job!

Very impressive customs of the OG 13 shown so far. Never even recalled seeing Hawk as a blond though I’ve heard people mention he had the cover girl blond and brunette switcharoo treatment I didn’t even recall him as a blond in the 80s toy line but I don’t think I ever had all the OG-13 tbh. Look forward to more customs videos and explanations of how you made them look so great because your customs are incredible! Thank you for the video

@@tonys_figs I see, and that’s another world of Joe I don’t really know. I’m mainly a Sunbow, O-Ring Joes, and the Resolute/Renegades Joe man. Cobra La wasn’t my jam really but if they make them ultimately and I like the La line of Joe then I’ll get those. Would be cool to see them eventually make 6 in figures in some of their early printed incarnations which I guess they have with retro carded Joes in the pipeline and already out. Wonder why they held off on a blond version of Abernathy for as long as they have. Excellent customs.
That Forge guy, I was curious what people was doing with his bright read head band 😆 I have him as one of my custom Parth Varma bucks as a larger sub team of Parth Varma bucks with different heads or custom Joe’s in my collection. I got a few M’baku’s that got the Parth Varma buck too (I bought multiple) of him cause I saw him as an Army Builder like Grunt
@@tonys_figs the Hawk head sculpt you got I think I missed that train 😆 it’s probably 100+ for that figure now.
I did copy your head swap out go to for Sgt Stalker though, thanks for that recommendation! I also got the Kilmonger as a custom Joe/Grunt (he needs some paint work) and the Chadwick black panther head sculpt as one of my extra custom Sgt stalkers also they work well. Sometimes they don’t, I think it’s trial and error. I used Hydra from the ML line for an unmasked Valkrye but she’s a bigger buck than the Valkyrie buck is so it’s one of those proportioned kind of issues, it’s not that bad but you can tell the head is for a bit larger female buck 😆

These are pretty slick. I'd have used the harness from Dusty for Zap instead of the ML one. I have to say though I think the Grand Slam you made is my favorite custom you've done, that was some damn fine work.
Thanks so much! I just might change that harness on ol Zap, as his lil figure did have the strap going across his chest like Short Fuze, but the comic did not. Weird 😆

I still might do that, but only have 1 Hawk at the moment.
Very good review i was on the fence to paint stalkers gear black but after seeing yours i pulled the trigger .Now he is a perfect 9 out of ten..cheers

I’ve done my own Zap and Short Fuze and will do a Steeler, but I am stumped on Flash and Grand Slam so if you make those I would be very interested in how you did it.

Great work as always Tony! Tell me is there a way for me to get the figures complete neck out to swap. I’m trying to make a stalker and dusty kit bash. I want to put stockers neck and head on Dusty‘s body. How do I go about that
I use a heat gun or really warm water. Heat up the necks and work them off the peg, they will come off. Not sure if they will be the same size.
What size drill do you use to drill the Marvel Legends heads so they sit lower on the neck pegs? Great review by the way!
I use a few different bits for my Dremel. I'll do a video on it soon. I could also DM you.
When you remove the paint, do you have to wipe the chemical away with water right away to not eat at the olive paint? Thx
No, after the windsor newton is used, It wont eat the plastic. I still wipe the excess tho
