Wow! What a blast from the past. At about 15 seconds in, the photo of Kenny also features Ed Dobek, the incredible drummer for Junior Gone Wild and The Malibu Kens. I used to do sound for these bands (and occasionally sub on guitar when personality conflicts flared up). To keep up with the mayhem, I bought a Marshall amp. That amp will soon be sold because I don’t need to peel the paint off of every surface within earshot anymore. Although the amp will go, the skateboards from that era will stay! Would be great to reconvene at the Spartan Men’s Club or Sportsworld but both ‘institutions’ only exist in our memory now.
I gave mine away to some kid 10 years ago when I lost everything. He knew the boards were 30 years old and were worth something. He couldn't believe a old guy like me could skate so I showed him a Ollie before I gave him my boards. My back and legs hurt at least a week afterwords. Too old for that stuff. I went through 13 boards, for a total if 15. I kept breaking them until I broke my knee. After that I took up cycling, and then chasing a wife I currently have. Never looks back until watching this. Oh memories.
I ended up becoming a power lifter and bodybuilder. When I was younger I tried to Skate, but damn I was awful at it! Ron you got skills man. Always stay young!
@@rvaillant LOL yep! I have an original Natas Kaupas board with OJII wheels and independent trucks. I will never sell it! too much love! Keep Ridin bro!
Wow, Mr. Vallient you just went over the top for me !!! Love you bro ❤. Please tell me how I can be of service to this party. I've never ever volunteered my time to a political party. However I think it's time to give back to something I believe in again. How can I help ???
Hi John. Great stuff. We are in a do or die scenario now in Canada. Each riding will have a PPC EDA. List is on the PPC website. You can volunteer with them. Help is always needed. You can donate to your local Eda, or candidate, through the EDA. Political donations up to 400.00 receive a 75% rebate at tax time. A 100.00 donation, for example, will end up costing 25.00. I may run again if there is a snap election and will be needing funds to pay for signs, etc.

zee Rollerskating was fun. I did that some times on the weekends. Was way more popular, easier, and the chicks were there, unlike skating.

Cool, the long boarder from Utah?
😎🤙🤙👍👍🥇🏅!!!
I never would have guessed, Ron. You should make a long testimony documentary of your path to christ after or through skating.
That’s a long story.
@@rvaillant They usually are :) But what a great story and blessing that would be. Peace, Brother!
