Thank you for this. I’ve seen many videos about Oregon in general but I’ve been looking for more specifics when I’ve been lost with what area when looking what section would be a good start for visit\move to Oregon from east coast.
Hood River might get my vote. Or Bend. If Bend is too pricy, try Redmond or Prineville because the area is expanding. Or Sisters. I lived in Corvallis for a while too and it is nice.
You’re so cute! My son and I are planning on moving back to Oregon, we didn’t like it near Portland, Wilsonville to be exact, so I’m looking for other areas. Thank you for the info!
There is nothing affordable here in southern oregon. Hasn’t been for years. We don’t have as much craziness as Portland but the homeless population is exploding because of drugs coming up the i5 corridor and housing being outrageously expensive. It’s a beautiful place to visit in spring but honestly I hate it here. And I suggest visiting during all four seasons before moving here. Smoke in the summer and depression in the winter is very common. And if your moving here for cultural attractions.?good luck. It’s lacking and disappointing. I’ve lived here most of my life and can’t wait to get back east to the fire flys and mountains of trees that change color. But to each his own. Some people refer to oregon as gods country and maybe it is about 1.5 months out of the year but that is not worth the (not joking) year long allergies and if you have never had allergies before you will living here.
$150K???? Sorry, the only places i have seen for that little is a scrap of land with no house! If you want a house THAT cheap, you have to move to INDIANA!!!
This video was really helpful! When looking up videos on Oregon, most were about Portland so appreciate the break down of multiple cities
You kept it simple yet packed in a lot of information, thank you I’ve been looking into a move to Oregon.
Thank you. I’ll go up all the time and it appears that we like all the same places. Hoping to move there soon one day
You have amazing energy!! Thanks for posting this little helpful video. We appreciate the honesty towards your bias bahah
I love bend but it is very expensive. We visited Klamath Falls, I really like that area and it’s much more affordable.

Oregon City is great, and West Linn, Clackamas, and Lake Oswego!
Do you have a video on Klamath now?
Not yet. 🙈 I had planned a trip at one point, but we never went (probably thanks to covid). I definitely need to re-plan that trip soon!
Thank you for the info...
