    I’m so mad with how easy that was! THANK YOU! I have to make a wedding cake next weekend for the first time and the bride wanted this texture but I had no clue how and didn’t want her cake to be a mess.

      If you were going to make a tiered cake, would you do this technique after they were stacked? Thanks!

    If you were doing a tiered cake, would you stack before adding texture? Thanks! Very pretty.

    Thank you for this video. I will have to practice this technique. Do you find holding the palate knife and spinning the turn table comes with practice? xx

    • @JustBakecause
      @JustBakecause  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Denise! Yes it can take some time to get used to but I find that holding the knife in one place with one hand and then using the other hand to quickly spin the turn table helps a lot!

    • @JustBakecause
      @JustBakecause  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Helen! I usually use Swiss Meringue Buttercream, but this can definitely work with ABC! Let me know if you try this out. I'd love to see a picture too! You can share it with me on Instagram @justbakecause

    Hi! Thank you for the video! I have one question. How do I make sure I don't get tiny holes? I use Swiss buttercream, but I just can't get a perfect look.

    • @JustBakecause
      @JustBakecause  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Taylor - so sorry for the late response! Those tiny "hole" are probably air bubbles, so you'll want to make sure your buttercream is completely smooth before you start frosting and doing this design. If anything, you can always gently go over any holes with your small angled spatula afterwards to smooth things out.

    Can this be done using ganache ... what should be the consistency of the ganache

    • @JustBakecause
      @JustBakecause  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Khushbu! Yes, this can definitely be done with ganache and I've personally tried it too. You'll want to make sure the ganache is spreadable, so almost like buttercream consistency.

    Can this be done using chocolate ganache... what should be the consistency of the ganache

    • @JustBakecause
      @JustBakecause  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Yes, you can definitely use it with chocolate ganache! I would use it with freshly made ganache that is still soft enough but stable to keep its shape.
