Honest question here. My allies died 6 times before the half way point on Cycle 1. Do you REALLY think support spells would have changed anything? Come on dude...Support spells only work for certain situations, like being able to heal after rerolling augments. If someone can't stay alive, that's not on me. But go on.
@@OHRyePlays You literally were the thing that killed your teammates a couple times. You took spells that are absolute hell for teammates (Phantom Blades and Hex Bomb) and then didn't do the thing that makes them stop killing teammates. Edit: Nevermind, you had friendly fire off, forgot some people play that way. But yeah, that's why those have healing Augments, not to heal, but for people playing with the default friendly fire on, so you can keep them from killing your buds.
I think that I'm seeing this correctly that Hex Bombs damage split seems to stop at 400ish damage even after its split like 4-5 times which is very interesting. That makes me think of an idea for the split damage spells, the first hit is full damage, let's say that's 3000 and then it would be nice if the damage splits up to a point and that point could be 10% of your Initial damage which would be 300 damage and once it hit's for 300/10% it keeps hitting for that 10% of your initial damage until the spell stops. So an example of my split damage thought is, 3000 (1st split), 1500 (2nd split), 750 (3rd split), 375 (4th split) and now that it's hit the 375 (5th split) any splits after will still hit for 375 (6th split) until the spell ends.
You put healing on Phantom Blades more to stop you from constantly killing teammates. They're one of the worst spells for co-op without that, because they do HIGH damage and you're constantly spitting them in front of you (And eventually also behind) so teammates anywhere near you get absolutely wrecked. In fact, you took TWO of the biggest offenders for killing friendlies on this run: Phantom Blades and Hex Bomb. Both are high burst damage attacks with area. That's why they both have Augments that switch them to healing: Not to make you a great healer, but to stop you absolutely murdering your buddies.
I think the builds that fire backwards are the ones that go the furthest. Not great fun early but later just having to focus on running your ass off dodging everything is your best bet. I've been trying to get the same kinda build. Definitely astral orbs, magic missile, falling star, and hex bomb preferably but scepter mesh is solid too
I think when you have a split spell you should only get like 3 maybe 4 splits because when you get to the point that your taking 0 damage off the enemy, it becomes a pointless upgrade and as you showed it clutters the screen and makes it hard to see the enemies, which makes it more difficult to plan your dodges. So maybe consider that in a future run of this game and see how that works out for you, keep in mind I've only watched this game so I might me missing something that makes getting all splits a good Idea, like maybe for splits it's better to get Fire element magic instead of Lightning. I just looked up what the element affects do, seeing as Fire does DOT until the enemy dies maybe that DOT would take effect even it your doing 0 damage. Anyway I'm very entertained watching you and how your so good at the game that you carry the squad with 0 death runs. I hope you don't lose interest in this game and keep showing it off and I really liked your long endless run, I know it takes a toll on you and I wouldn't want to make you feel pressure to do more but I just want you to know I really liked it, especially because it was a 0 death run. I just had a really interesting Build Idea, Broad Sword (Close Range Spell), Astral Orbs (Split Spell), Phantom Blades (Projectile Spell) and Rocky Road (Trailing Spell). and the the elements if possible Broad Sword (All Lightning), Astral Orbs (All Fire), Phantom Blades (All Acid) and Rocky Road (All Ice). I know this would take an extreme amount of luck and also might be a bad build, again I've only watched this game but it sounds like a fun build to me.
The hardest part about this game is getting the spells you want, especially since you can't reroll. That build would be strong though. Broadsword and Astral would be able to carry.
I like solar pulse leveled up to at least level 6 so I can get a Frost mod on it. It's great for the slow mechanic so it's way easier to tank that end boss. I usually turn hex bomb into the healing spell too cause otherwise I seem to always hit myself with it.
doesnt want to take support augments, complains when teammates die

I have always noticed, the longer you take to kill the boss when he is on the map, the mobs will progressively get faster until he is dead.

The split damage at the end get's a little too low...being 0 lol. It shouldnt have that much of a fall off. Your idea is how they should do it.

I guess that makes sense if you’re playing with the covenant off. Good thing they allow you turn off friendly fire now.

Just don't get fire astral orbs. Heard that from a friend, totally didn't die to mobs orbs bc I couldn't see them
my favorite character is the one with eather weapon

they should make phantom blades fire in the direction of the target. similar to arcane orb
Agreed. I’ve never been a fan of forward facing weapons.
Phantom Blades is only decently usable if you get the augment to fire behind you as well.
Whole thing again. gg
Thanks! GGs to you!

Luckily they added no friendly fire. I made the mistake once of putting once on chthonic. I frozelocked myself and died lol.
I would like to do a few runs with you on this game some time. I progression is near maxed.
If you’re not in the discord, jump in. Maybe I’ll try and set up a community game sometime soon.
just did 9 loops 3.5 hours i had to quit couldent even see the eneme lol
It gets pretty ridiculous after awhile. It gets really hard to see. I'm usually spent after 3-4 waves.
