I certainly like how we grew up as our parents and grandparents used to have different bedding curtain colours, paint the walls in different colours and table clothes. Also change around the position of the sofa and dining table. Let's go back to that and with what they used to do, thry hardly complained about boring furniture and so far, because of changes they used to make as we were growing up. They didn't have to have a lot of money to do those small changes.
I also watch USA vloggers during seasons they would put new accessories aligned to the season and I bet it helped not to get tired of the same deco. I've noticed that our Jessica Van Heerden does the same in her house by having different accessories for different seasons.
