Toyota Sienna is roomy and handsome, one of few minivans remaining on the American market, and the only one that can be equipped with all-wheel drive.
Though scorned for years by critics as drab suburbanite transport, the minivan is the ultimate family vehicle. When weighing a purchase, all considerations typically fall by the wayside, except for one: will it convey seven or eight passengers safely and comfortably?
Seating seven or eight, depending on second-row seating, Toyota’s minivan scores highly on both counts. Gas mileage is about average. Handling ranks above average for the minivan class, and you get Toyota’s long-standing reputation for reliability.
The Sienna’s well-organized cabin has a bit more flair than some minivans. Front seats provide an almost majestic seating position. In the second row, even the basic bench is comfortable, including substantial leg and head space. The bench can be moved fore/aft to reapportion leg space.
Separate seats may be substituted for the bench, dropping passenger capacity to seven. Top-rung Limited models can even have airline-type reclining buckets. Second-row seats may be removed, but they don’t fold into the floor as in Chrysler/Dodge minivans. With the third-row seat folded, cargo space totals 87.1 cubic feet.
Its low load-in height and big cargo capacity makes the Sienna a great vehicle for the family dog and for hauling lots of stuff.
Siennas can be equipped with modern safety technology, though many features are optional. Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are available on upper trim levels. Parking sensors are standard on the Limited. Blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert is standard on the XLE and Limited, and available for the SE. Toyota has increased the number of LATCH anchor points from three to four.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gives Sienna a five-star overall rating and side-impact score, with four-star for frontal and rollover incidents. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave Toyota’s minivan only an Acceptable rating on the rigorous small-overlap test, but Good in other testing.

I have a 2009 Toyota Venza that has 225,000 miles on it. I have kept the oil changed and tires rotated and other than replacing the alternator once have had no issues with it. It is bar far the best vehicle I have ever owned. We have two other toyotas and a Lexus which I am going to trade for this van soon. Toyota brand is just a good reliable brand. I'm from Texas so Fords seem to dominate here but they don't compare at all to Toyota. Thanks for this informational video.

Are the 2nd row reclining captain's chairs with the foot rest only available on the FWD, or on the AWD model as well?
They are avalable on both.
I got this car same everything but no recliner.... They said it's not available in Connecticut and NY regin.
Why are the 120 outlets always w/o the third prong?
This third prong is for ground. It would be very difficult to ground vehicle moving on rubber tires.

i have a question if you can answer me. I bought a 2015 Seinna limited premium. does it have a remote start? I tried with the way you had said it doesnt start. does it mean it doesnt have? how do i find out?
Great question. If you followed my instruction in the video then your van does not have remote start. You would need to contact a dealer or aftermarket installer about having that feature added to your Toyota. Thank you for the question and I hopee it was helpful. Have a wonderful day!

a heated steering wheel. Yes its too expensive for most people but, look at all the options it should be fully loaded with all the options for that money and it appears to be.

AWD limited Sienna doesn't have a spare tire, instead s equipped with run flat tires.
Run flat tires do not have a good reputation. Might be a deal breaker for me.

It's supposed to have 30 hp more than the previous models. That's a big difference to me because I like more power lol!

I own one. Its a personal choice. I wouldn't trade it for anything else except for a upgrade. I have paid more for vehicles that didn't have half the options this one has. This thing is big, its heavy, 18-20 gal tank, and it handles like a car. Yes I am a male. I don't need a big SUV or the cost of ownership that comes with it. Can I afford a biG SUV if I wanted one? yes. And the cost of ownership too. Been there, Done that. I have better things to do with my money. Again. Its a personal choice. I am very comfortable driving in my Sienna. P.S if anyone didn't catch the hint, I gives less than a dam what others think of me driving a mini van. Don't pay my bills, I have to live with them, or have kids with them. Not worried about it. My wife and kids love it. That all that matters.
