Bernie Mac at Studio 104

Got a phone call from Bernie (we went to h.s. together) saying he was performing at a club I was D.J.ing at, Studio 104 in Chicago. He asked could I bring my video camera that day. Sure thing Bernie. I dubbed him a copy and put it away never thinking about it again until I found it the other day.
No one else has this footage and I just decided to share it with the world. Enjoy!

Talent man, it's takes confidence and quick wit to do stand up in that atmosphere.. The audience can most def eat up if you let em... But Bernie was quick of the head and didn't get intimate easy...

It's called an act. Most comedians come up with a set which ranges from about 15 minutes to an hour and tour it around for a while. Once they feel as if enough people have seen it or they need a new act they come up with a new one. The ones that don't usually end up doing the same material for their entire careers and are not held in high esteem.
