Rest in peace Steve Williams my childhood friend my Harvey twister partner him lavoris sandifer for the two most gifted wrestlers to ever come out of Illinois tragedy struck both of these young men and they were my childhood friends two of the best to ever do it quintroy try to save a bunch of us he saved so many but a lot of us straight and went our own way but that man was a father figure to so many of us thank you sir thank you rest in peace Steve one of the best to ever do it in the state of Illinois or Iowa and he came from Harvey

I remember this CVS Frosh Squad... stopped Simeon's Froshsoph 2 yards from the goal line on the last play of the game to advance to the Froshsoph Championship.... Great Team!

I went to HS with this young man. Nicest guy and a true champion. We didn't hype him up nearly enough! One of the greatest athletes in Harlan HS history.

The most naturally gifted wrestler I’d ever seen and a great teammate. At 103, I was first up at dual meets and Steve would always grab me and get me fired up right before I walked out onto the mat. He was also one of the funniest guys on the team. I miss him.

I actually like the alumni probates a little more than the undergrads. They are a bit more classy, less vulgar, and the crowds are less annoying. The undergrad shows do have that flash that can't be duplicated.

Wow , the wrestling Steve displayed was great , 1 the mental focus to stay in that match 2 the adjustments that was made in the match ( optional start , the switching sides on top ) 3 yes tony Davis the confidence ( the take down right before the pin, and finding the way to get his best move the cradle ) so yes I would say he is the greatest twister ever .

Lionel "Lonnie" Keys was an NJCAA runner-up for the historic Triton College wrestling program in 1982. He then went on to wrestle for Chicago State University and became an NAIA All-American when he placed fourth in 1984. Come and be a part of Triton College wrestling's history!
