ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I really hope that if we get a new Banshee soon, he comes with a screaming face for Siryn. Don´t like when Hasbro includes accesories for a figure in later releases but in this case it could help the figure so much.

Besides the fact she doesn't have screaming head, you gotta at least admit that Siryn has a beautiful head sculpt and will also go great with her 90s X-FORCE members, Even though I don't have her, I will get Wolverine and first appearance Sabretooth, Great review as always Shartimus.
I think the body is a good base for a pinless Phoenix custom.

Not to give you or everyone's hopes up, Maybe when the big three Dan, Ryan and Dwight they make a new Banshee that can come with 3 heads one none screaming and 1 screaming head for him and the other screaming head for Siryn.

See, I look at the boxart and wish her face looked like that rather than what we got. I like that the comic figures don’t look like the MCU figures for the most part.
Idk if this helps Shartimus but if you're proficient with a needle & thread, whenever you're bored you can stitch around those holes on the cape. It will reinforce the holes as well as your concern about them expanding...kinda like sewing holes in socks. 🤷🏾♂️
It’s a good figure, but on my copy the yellow was sloppy and blended into the green. I returned it and I’m waiting for another. Bummer
This was really the only figure that I wanted from this wave, and I got her, so I can wait for the other figures to go on sale or get discounted 💁♂️
Great figure, but definitely needed a screaming head sculpt. Also, I would have preferred a Siryn costume from when she first joined X-Force just because most of the X-force figures we have are sporting the Liefeld costumes. Still gets a pass though since she didn't really change that much.
Your reviews have been a great help when it comes to getting people for my own personal collection. Just aiming to build an X-Men and Avengers team, and some spider people. I know they're both older figures, but I'm curious how Wonder Man and Beast (from Caliban BaF IIRC?) measure up to each other.
I really do hope we get a new Sean soon....I grew up with that Gold Team as a kid....he's one of the few I'm missing still for my X-Men Roster
I picked this up for $13 on clearance at my local target. Very happy to add her to my collection. Excellent figure with the pinless joints is great to see
It's too bad this doesn't look more like the artwork on the back.
If you put tape on the area where the hole is and then cut out a hole in the tape, it helps to keep it from ripping and makes it easier to change hands as well.

@@bengerman76 apparently Ha$bro's More Loot comic-line product didn't fool Amazon either - less then $20 USD today. What I don't understand is they had the paints (evidence #1 Siryn), they have the buck (evidence #2 Grim Reaper), they need at least one "fodder" per wave (uhm, how much would it cost to paint a Grim Reaper with the colurs you already have?). And yet for some reason Ha$bro thinks Dorkside, BBTS, EE, Amazon et al want to try and move a Siryn with a closed mouth instead.

I was also waiting for this character and even though not having an opened mouth head is like denying her mutant power I still want to add her to my collection of X-force characters.
I know while beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I would have preferred an sculpt based on any of the much better depictions of her. Hope we do get that in the future.
I happy to have another Irish character. To be honest I'm happy not to have a screaming head, knowing Hasbro we would have either one head or the other, like Thunderstrike and I prefer having neutral heads.

Good review! I really like this figure, except for the soft goods. Although in its defense, I don't know how they would pull that particular cape off in plastic.
I feel the same way that you do about handling cloth parts on figures. I'm always nervous about manipulating them for fear of ripping them. Even watching you change out the hands gave me anxiety. 🤣

Ideally it would have a screaming head and this neutral one. As is, if it's a case of one or the other I'm good with the neutral one.
I like the grasping hands. Makes a change from the spell casting ones.
Only real gripe would be the fragility of the cape and the ugly peg holes in the back.

I just got the figure and I removed the cape as it's a hindrance and I think I'm gonna have to get a different head for her because this one isn't working for me
It seems crazy to me that there's still no first appearance Banshee (old marvel legends don't count. Hasbro has released every other member of the 'Giant-Size' X-Men lineup, plus Black Tom, plus Siryn, but no Banshee!

I mean there's no paint detail even on the one head we do get. This just comes off lazy hasbro. It's lazy. Her hair should at least have a wash.

This wave hurts, first the new Vulcan standard male body mold has horrible scale, now Syrin has no screaming face and the hair been already posed also is kinda bad.. :/ screaming face should have this flowing hair and a neutral one with neutral hair.
She's even got the screaming face in the artwork so they knew it but still no screaming face in the figure itself?

Ugh. No screaming head sculp and IMPOSSIBLE to pose standing up. I don't even understand how you have her standing in this video. And the cape is cheap. No wonder this was $10. Good thing I found a custom screaming head sculpt and cape at RXT Project.
