ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

It's not hard to make bendy wire capes yourself, but you shouldn't have to with the hasbro price hikes.

@@mikey9906 not that I like their prices, but putting some plastic in a mold is easier and cheaper for mass production than doing a bendable wire cape.

I like this design because growing up, I'd watch Wolverine and the X-men, and they had designs similar to the astonishing X-men.

I wish hasbro put in the budget for cloth or wired capes. Definitely a clearance figure
This practice is more common than you think. Another figure that suffers with this problem is super action statues trish because her skirt is hard plastic. I might as well include this in here too. Jotaro from the same line can't really sit down due to his cocktails.
Emma & Scott are the only ones I have on pre-order. I'm a DC guy mostly,but LOVE this run. So much to the point that I pre-ordered them day one. Can't wait for Hasbro to make the rest of the team. Will replace the cape with a cloth cape when I get her in.

Nice review, Shartimus! Astonishing Emma Frost is the best version for me. I think I'll receive mine this week, I'm pretty excited for that. I also have the Hell Fire Club version, but it's a pain in the ass to keep standing due to the leg issues you also mentioned. This new version with pinless joins seems to fix this issue, that was what your pictures tell me - by the way, nice poses, man!
I 100% agree the plastic cape is a bummer as it limits how to pose the figure. Hell Fire Club has the same issue. For some reason, Hasbro never use fabric in Marvel Legends line, only in Star Wars Black Series. I like her cape sculpt, but a fabric cape would be the best option.

That Hellfire Emma is my favourite figure. Not only because its a good figure but that Byrne Claremont run is forever how I think of all the characters that were around at the time.

I actually think a swap at the thigh swivel between the Astonishing Emma and Hellfire would work as long as you keep the Astonishing feet.

Cyclops and Emma are smaller this time, lol, the new Emma is almost at the same size of the old one, that's insane. Still my favorite is Walgreens version, great hair and face.
Maybe this was a case for them to do soft goods.
Got one from a local store from trading in some old stuff I didn't want anymore.
9/10 sculpt, but the cape ruins it. Seriously thinking about removing the cape, filling in the front cape holding holes with putty, and then give her a soft goods cape.
They shouldn’t have glued the cape in to her top. They could have made it connect in the front and had it be removable.
Then if we wanted to we could have glued it ourselves.
They say it is now, if you cut it or pull it out it’s gonna look like turds.
Cloth cape would be ideal for this one.

I like this figure but I think the headsculpt could have been a whole lot better . The other thing is the heel's , hasbro you need to get rid of these heel's , they are the worst for standing figures .

I don't think Hasbro has ever given us a good Emma figure, this one certainly comes close. But god, hellfire isn't even good and her stint as a villain is just forgettable. People "love" that version just because she was in the animated series, but those of us who read comics know that Emma's true potential is until she's on the X-men's side.
This version of Emma has the smallest chest ever. Went from DD to a B lol.
