I have so much respect for James Blunt as an artist and as a man. He is one of the few who haven't sold out. Stuck to his love for music with passion and emotion and with variations that didn't make him a one trick pony. You can feel his emotions are real if you watch any of his live performances. I still remember when You're Beautiful came out and the world went gung ho over him. And no sir he wasn't meant to be a one hit wonder though he might have gone under the radar since. He is not bound by thirst for money or fame. Doing his own thing and oozing with creativity. Respect.

I just visited my former home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming seeing old friends and reminiscing. I heard this song right before the visit, and someone mentioned the video was filmed in Wyoming. On the drive out of town I pulled up the music video and choked back tears as I saw James Blunt photograph my beloved Tetons in the video. It's so bittersweet to leave. I listened to this song for nearly 13 hours straight on the long drive home.

9 years ago I heard this in a gym I was frequenting, it was in the background so I didn't hear it well. Later I got this burning urge to look it up so I started searching and finally found it. I was 14 at the time and it somehow resonated with me deeply, it still does but now there is the added nostalgia that kicks in. I remember that moment in that gym so vividly, I was there just a moment ago but suddenly that moment is 9 years ago. I feel old.

I visited my best friend in the world last weekend. We live a bit far from each other, but we have still managed to meet every once in a while. This weekend he told me he is moving to another country because of work and family. I obviously support him in every aspect of life and I am happy he is doing great. On the last day of my visit we were driving around and made a trip to a nearby town. This song came up on the radio.

That’s a tough one to answer. Hmmm I have a few favorites but Into The Dark and Sun On Sunday, Good Bye My Lover and Cry are the ones I catch myself humming when I’m doing housework. But I love all the songs you’ve done so far. I connect more with the emotional songs because they carry so many of my own issues with them, it allows me to feel the emotions without having to explain them to others.
