The Gundersen Family Perform Middle of June

  • In early 2013 we were approached by Mason Jar Music, and asked to be part of a special project they were putting together. The project, titled The Storm is Passing Over, was a Hurricane Sandy Benefit Album featuring an all-star collection of artists re-imagining classic American storm songs. We were honored and pleased to be a part of the project by recording the Gundersen Family and their live performance of The Flood. They performed two songs that day, and here is that second song titled, Middle of June.

    My favorite song by just by Noah Gunderson is "Family". Personally, I prefer songs he sings alone. The entire family does beautiful harmonizing, but his solo songs have more of a sad edge of darkness I can relate to. It feels more real. Just my opinion.

      I love both so I’ll definitely agree. I think Abby really adds something to Noah though. Like in the song oh death
