Oh, RealAsianRobot, you forgot to mention that when power surging, the intrinsic cell and unique effect of the weapon/armor also improves. That's very important. Power surging armor is more important because of the cell it has, rather than the defence boost it gets. And that you need a weapon power surged if you want its cell at +3 and effect improved when you bond it to a legendary weapon.
Great info for those unaware of how this works. I freaked out the first time I reforged, because I didn't understand what it meant. All I know is that I was thinking, "What have I done?!". I thought it would take forever to get back to level 20, but it's not awful.
@@SAINTBROs it takes longer but it isn't that bad I reforged a random weapon yesterday and I'm already around level 10 just fight the hardest bosses possible on your current level and you will be okay (don't fight solo fight in a group)

Just one little thing to add: reforging also adds bonus on the skill of the weapon/armor. If it gives you something like +1 sharp you will get +3, if it is +2 you also go to +3. It is important to finish your builds as well. Great video as always. \o

Do you have the aethersparks necessary? Because as shown in the video, you require 100 aethersparks to do so. Which you should have if you properly completed island events and hit level 20. Uh no lol. If you power surge, there is no problem. It lowers your level, but clearly if you're level 1 the hunting grounds shows your recommended hunting area. Only a Moron would reforge and fight something that a level 20 would fight haha

Get their aetherhearts ready then they farm one of my easy builds and fully surge it, then rush escas. It also provides you with the cell cores you need along the way to unlock better cells

The game is soo bad for newbies XD. I started at a new account three weeks ago because it's been 2-3 years since i don't play and there was so many content (especially the slayer's path is a bit chaotic). I played for a week or two and it was like: unlock everything you can at the slayer's path when you can, and accept all missions which have no meaning because you unlock everything through the slayer's path. Then i connected to my old account and it was like a breeze: having a lot of cells at +3; 16 aether hearts; level 20 in all weapons; and having all weapons and armor except the legendaries. Geez, the game ask too many parts for the Rezakiri, Shrowd and Cronovore sets. The Shrowd is somewhat doable, but the Reza is still annoying and have small hitboxes. And Getting Cronovore fins is grinding in another level.

@@simochi2129 do you have the full axe reforge bonus? Because that obviously raises your power. So the difference is probably the fact that you haven't reforged your axe 10 times. Check your slayer path and you will notice this
i want to ask im a beginner only playing war pike. i know almost everything about game but i wanna know is it worth to buy exotic repeaters. i have all war pike mods specials but i should play other weapons after war pike forge ends. im keeping my trial tokens for exotic repeaters
Nope lol. You should watch my vid on "Everything about reforging" to understand the process. There are some benefits obtained from reforging the first 10 times. These can be seen in your slayers path. However. Once you power surge your weapon there are no further power increases no matter how much you reforge. For more info just watch my vid. You forgot to mention that power surging improves your armor/weapons passive talent bonus from +1 to +3, for example those gnasher chain blades went from +1 rage hunter to +3 rage hunter which is pretty massive!

Can you do a straight breakdown on where the games at, meta, stats, cells. Progression through gearing and expeditions. Just an over all recap of where the games at and all that's changed. I know it's alot to ask but I think alot of people would benefit.
Nope, there is no need for that. Anything you need to understand, I have a video on specifically about it. Other than that, following the Slayer's Path is all you need to do. There is no such thing as a meta, and for cells, you only need to follow Robot builds for an optimal experience

It's not the max reforge, it's just the max for bonuses :). You can reforge your war pike 1000 times if you want lul. It's just that most players don't bother reforging more than 10 to 20 times, unless they really want to show off that they've no lifed the game for 3 years or something
Nope. Reforge at least 10 times for each weapon. After that if you want to slack off that's up to you 🤣🤣🤣. But 10 times for each weapon is a must. Edit: If you want all the bonuses to be a top tier hunter

Yeah. That's how reforging works. You need to reforge multiple times to gear up everything? That's how it has ALWAYS worked lol. 1 aetherheart powers up 1 piece of gear
Um, that is impossible, the game always gives an aetherheart when you reforge. If you did not receive one, take a vid and send it directly to Dauntless as a bug report

Then I reforged for the 2nd time it used my 100 aether shards and I'm now 2nd reforge level 3 cause I had stored xp. I checked all my gear as to make sure I didn't accidently use it on something without noticing. I still only have 3 pieces of power surged gear and no other aether hearts. I'm boutta just put the game down for a while.

yeah, not a fan of reforge honestly. would rather have the ability to upgrade armor again and again instead minus the aether/rage crystals/gems cause that was actually balanced and gave purpose to older gear instead of relying on the new stuff with better innate defenses
Uh. Nobody relies on the innate stats my dude lol. Reforge simplified the whole process and basically let's newbies gear up within a week. Most will just follow the Asian Robot methodology and they're usually fully surged within a week with all +3 cells lol. Sorry not sorry, but the old system required too much time investment and was a legitimate waste.

Reforge both as the weapon strength is based on the legendry, but the perk strength is based on the bonded weapon.
When reforging swords you can get 2% charge rate. What is that

70 mate lol. There are 7 weapons so it's 70 reforges (minimum if you finish the path :P). However, it's only if you REALLY want all the bonuses!
