    Sifu Sergio, seen videos describing the Heaven, Man, & Earth wooden dummy sets. I've only seen the online video of the Earth Set and the Heaven Set. My questions for you is:
    1. What is the "Man Set" wooden dummy? Is it a literal wooden dummy set or a two-man wooden dummy drill? How do I find it?
    2. The Tang Yik Family Dummy set vs. the Fung Siu Ching dummy set. Why is that extra leg sweep with the gaun secret?
    3. Is #1. related to #2. ?
    Thank you very much! My sifu and I really like your videos.

    Excuse me Sifu Sergio, I've watched GM Tang Yick wd form in someone channel and it showed clearly that Gm Tang Yick attack the leg part with a hand in some section. Does it indicate that wing/weng chun actually has a ground technique or takedown? Thank you very much.

      It are facts they interacted in history many times all the way back from when Wong Wha Bo and Leung Yee Tai Interacted in terms of the Luk Dim Poon Kwan (the Luk Dim Poon Kwan was borrowed from Weng Chun and placed into Wing Chun) maybe you should read my book 450 pages full of info and proof. You seem to forget I study Wing Chun since 1986 and finished 2 of the Ip Man lineages curriculum as well as 2 of the Weng Chun lineage curriculums. Weng Chun and Wing Chun are sister arts who interacted over 3 times in history already in the past.Ip Man just did what some of his ancestors already had done, Another time was when people Like Leung Jan of Wing Chun interacted with Weng Chun masters in Foshan in Yuen Wo same concept as what later was set up in Dai Dak Lan in Hong Kong

    • @dan-oq4be
      @dan-oq4be 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SifuSergioChannel just because they interacted, it doesn't mean he taught weng chun techniques as wing chun, ip man stated himself they're different arts. Wc is wc, not weng chun, not boxing and not tai chi. You can connect people that interacted, but that says nothing about what ip man taught as wing chun.
      I can't see ip man teaching weng chun techniques and telling his students its a wing chun technique, thats hell of a claim to make just because they interacted. The pole form may as it's a weapon form. But he wouldn't of with hand techniques cause they're different arts.

      @@dan-oq4be you are so so stubborn it’s funny, really stuck in a box. Wing chun ancestors are Fujian white crane and Emei, Weng chun ancestor art is Fujian White crane minus Emei the arts are connected in history and so very similar on multiple levels. I studied both arts in-depth so I know ok. This is my last comment on the matter and if you continue with your stubborn comments they will be deleted thank you 🙏🏻

    Wing chun and weng chun are different arts, so knowone thinks they're dummy form will be the same as wing chuns. Alot of kung fu styles have a wooden dummy form. That says nothing about wing chun. Why are you pairing wing chun and weng chun as the same thing?

    • @SifuSergioChannel
      @SifuSergioChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Point is that Ip Man exchanged and clearly has borrowed from the Weng Chun dummy forms, not only did he took the design of the wall mounted from Dai Dak Lan (he let his student Koo Sang take the measurements and copied the first wall mounted wooden dummy in the world from Dai Dak Lan) he also incorporated some Techniques into his own forms. That’s the point here

    When I have spoken to weng chun people they tell me you were not taught much and exaggerate how much you had learnt from some very specific people. There are people with archives of videos and documents given to them by way of passing on the weng chun lineages and they don't speak highly of you either. This seems to be a regular pattern for you; sifus you sought instruction from denying they showed you much and speaking poorly of you. This has happened so many times now across different arts that with that it is hard to take anything you say as being 100% truthful

      Been doing Weng Chun since 2004 those talking bad about me are the ones I left 2-3 years later. The ones that I am still training with talk good about me and are the ones that matter Sifu Sunny So and Sifu Chan Hoi Suen not to talk about Sifu Cheng Kwong who made me a master level and had put me into his official family tree as a successor next to only 3 others in Lo Family Weng Chun. Lots of jelousy and when you leave a certain Sifu for another in the lineage and they start to talk bad about you well that’s a thing of chinese pride and face. For me I care about the art and will always seek out the best and most knowledgeable in the lineage and in this case that was Sifu Sunny So and Sifu Chan Hoi Suen over the one you are talking about and who for me is not even worth mentioning his name. Wishing you the best and thanks for your comment
