    This is incredible on me. It smells so yummy and beautiful and it stays that way all day. I can’t stop smelling my wrist. Ppl can’t stop smelling on me. This one is in my TOP 10 faves ever. I know ppl say that the edt was best but I tell u my edp is amazing, better than the edt sample I got. I just can’t describe how much I love this perfume. It’s epic. I got two of the huge bottles. I never wanna be without it. I’m so glad it works great with my chemistry. Boy does it work with my chemistry.

    I was also wondering why you had never reviewed this until now. As a matter of fact, I was searching your whole video playlist three days ago, yet I could not find it! Good to finally see your review for this amazing bottle! I have it, and it is the best Chanel for me followed by Allure Sensuelle! Love from the Philippines!

      ouch110 Fragrance Reviews Oh! Thanks for replying to my comment! Please, visit my country soon! Yes, Palawan is an amazing place! Been there a couple of times, and it never fails to amaze me! The beaches there are to die for! I would be more than happy to be your tour guide! Keep shining! ^^

    I have the OG Coromandel EDT I purchased at Bergdorf & Goodman in NYC pre-2010. I sprayed it twice and it stayed in its box hidden inside a cabinet since. 🤓

    You finally did it, yay! Oh my, isn’t Coromandel something?! It is stunningly beautiful. Everything you said, yes! Love it. Spot on. I have the edp, and as for performance, I wouldn’t go so far as to call it beastly, though it does project well for a while, but it lasts quite a long time. If I touch it up around 3pm, I can smell it the next morning...and man, that far into the dry down it’s soooo yummy. So good, so glad I have it. Agree the big bottle isn’t big enough lol. That’s one of the bottles that I hate to see going.

      It's amazing on clothes isn't it? Just such a wonderful scent. I really would go to the dark side to get my hands on the original EDT. It was just amazing. Alas...reformulation strikes again!

    Thanks for this review, I love the Chanel Triva!! Just added this to my collection (the EPD). This smell extremely similar to Armani prive amber eccentrico. The dry down of the channel smells like the opening of Armani. Please review more for the Chanel exclusive line.

      @ouch110  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh it does? That's interesting. I have been wondering about things that might be similar to this. Someone mentioned a fragrance a while ago by Rance called Laetitia Millesme but I'm still on the lookout for it. :)

    I wholeheartedly agree with you. Coromandel is one of my favourite fragrances ever. I own a sample of the original EdT and I'm still beating myself up for not getting a bottle when I had the chance (before they ramped up the price). I also own a bottle of the EdP and, unfortunately, for me it's just not the same. Is it still beautifully blended? Yes. Does it still smell good? Yes. But I'm not as in love. I am one of the those who enjoyed the contrast between the patchouli, which gave a woody, natural, wet earth vibe and the warm, yummy, cozy amber. It was like an enchanted forest or eating vanilla cake wearing a cashmere sweater by the fire of a wooden cabin. I don't know, it was just magical. The new version not only lacks considerably in performance on my skin (which considering the supposed increase in concentration and the definite increase in price is annoying to say the least), but it is even more linear. Just sweet from beginning to end with a slight hint of patchouli in the background, at least to my nose. I still like the EdP, though, and I'll continue wearing it, but I'll treasure my 2ml vial like a jewel and will only dare to use it in extremely momentous occasions.

    • @ouch110
      @ouch110  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh wow that's so disappointing. I really need to sniff out the new EDP. I was hoping it would be stronger and more rich like the original. What a shame. :( I am also one who is kicking themselves for not getting the original edt when it was around, I waited too long and it bit me in the butt!

    I think the Chanel DNA is, that they really think about what they can leave out, without changing the statement of a fragrance. Every note has its place and is there for a reason.

    I just bought a large sample of Chanel Coromandel and OMG it unlike any perfume I have ever smelled. It is now in my top 10 as well. My goodness, it is a masterpiece. I NEED a full bottle of this amazing perfume. The largest bottle I can find. I own about 40 or more high end perfumes and most I hardly ever wear. I tend to go for the favorites. I can see me wearing this incredibly delicious perfume every day. I now can’t stop smelling my wrist. You really do describe it perfectly tho. I’m not really a big fan of Chanel perfumes, but this one is amazing. Now I know what I’m getting for my birthday. A VAT of this perfume.....haha haha
    If only......

    I really like your review, and i own several bottles of edt. But what i dont understand is why everybody thinks White chocolate is a note.
    The White choco Vibe comes from the patchouli mixed with vanilla. 😊

    TOTALLY agree with everything you're saying here. I'm OBSESSED! OMG, have you tried layering with the new Coromandel body oil? That is a white chocolate BOMB!!!! I like to also layer with the extrait de parfum. I get so wound up with the deliciousness of it that it's like being on cocaine. Sometimes I have to give it a break because it's that good, I get strung out by it. 🤣

    I wanted to love Coromandel soooo much. I made sure to get my bottle of Eau de Parfum directly in the Chanel boutique in my city, so that it would be an original. I sniffed it in the boutique and my first thought was "very light, but lovely, not oh-my-god-ish, but lovely, maybe the drydown will convince me of its magic". I bought the 200 ml bottle. Now that I have had a few days to try it, wear it, sniff it intensely, I cannot understand what all the fuzz is about in the fragrance community. It is nice, but on me it lasts maybe 15 minutes. Then it is GONE. Just like that... :(( I am so disappointed. I do know that some say, the Eau de Toilette was way stronger, better and so on... But come on... For THAT price point I expected at least SOME sillage and strength... And it was wrapped in its original box (no light interference) and wrapped-up in cellophane when I bought it. Me sad...

    Very good Tom, love this, my partner doesn't like me using it though, she thinks it's too feminine for me. • @millemajja2
    @millemajja2 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I love it too! Latest year though it has gotten competion from Rancé 1795 Laetitia Millesime that has the same kind of vibe, the earthy chocolaty patchouli and resins. The differens is that Laetitia has more development, more stages and it last about 12 hours (on me!) and ends as a softer vanilla/flower. Try if you find it, it’s not easy to come by but if you love Coromandel i think you will love Laetitia as well! (Note to self; must track down another bottle of it..)

      ouch110 Fragrance Reviews
      I do. I’ve tested twice.
      I am not sure how I feel abt it. It really reminds me of a dry Fancy Nights and I didn’t care for Fancy Nights.
      It has great lasting power and it’s a beautiful patchouli. There is an extreme earth, rooty soil phase on my skin for abt an hour. I’m unsure if I want to smell like overturned soil.
      There is a lovely phase that I guess is the white chocolate and other notes. It’s creamy and complex. But the straight patchouli returns to a swan song. More testing is required.
