- A leading political commentator has called for supporters of Hamas in the UK “to be treated exactly the same way as supporters of Isis”.
Speaking at an event on Jewish leadership in London, Douglas Murray, who isn’t Jewish, told the audience: “If you stand in Britain with the Hamas flag, you should not be allowed to be free in Britain. You should have your citizenship withdrawn. You should have your passport withdrawn. You should be deported.”
Murray was speaking alongside several prominent rabbinical figures at an event titled Jewish Solidarity and Wisdom in a Time of Crisis.

Actually, most intellectuals in the public sphere, are very much against Hamas and share similar sentiments as those expressed in the video.

I think that that is overwhelmingly true for the vast majority of thinking, informed Japanese. Which is marvellous. But ! Sadly, there are people in Japan who do support Hamas, under the guise of ‘support’ for Gazans. I speak of the Japan Communist Party, who’ve begun to hand out flyers at train stations in support of Hamas ( although they may dispute this view of their activities ). I never, ever thought I’d live to see Jew-hatred openly expressed in Japan. Because some very kind Japanese mistake me for a rabbi 😅, they say extremely nice things about Jews. Always have. Nothing ever nasty or negative. Never in support of the Islamist murderers trying to kill us. I hope that this characteristic survives in Japan. I was dismayed to see the LDP-Komeito government offering yet more money to ‘Palestinians’ AFTER October 7th. Truly shocking.

It takes a monstrous kind of evil to hide behind your own children.
I once saw a video of a woman dressed in the full black walking towards the Israel border pushing a pram containing her baby. When she got to the Israeli soldiers she detonated the bomb hidden beneath her child. It was absolutely devastating to watch such violence, but I also comprehend how indoctrinated and deluded someone must be to murder her baby and other people and taking her own life...and when she did it, she was smiling. Haunted me for weeks.

I appreciate Douglas Murray's words, but there are times I do feel alone. I work in higher education (a current paradox) and every time have to walk past the banners promoting diversity, inclusion, and tolerance and telling me to be aware of all the other oppressed groups in the world--but I am the one suffering inside. I appreciate it when a co-worker asks me how I'm doing and how are my friends in Israel. But I walk past a plaque bearing a quote from Anne Frank about how wonderful it is to improve the world, but I weep inside because the organization finds nothing wrong with using the words of dead Jews, but won't lift a finger to help living Jews continue living. I weep inside because we won't know if our loved ones will live or die tomorrow.
But perhaps that is the current paradox we live in. This isn't the flavor-of-the-month that companies post about on twitter and write about in PR statements to see what's trending in the separate world of victimhood mentality. If there's anything I've learned from history, it is that the Jewish people don't allow ourselves the luxury of sitting back and waiting for help. We muster the strength to get back on our feet time and time again.

We have too many people who come into our nations in the West who refuse to assimilate into our culture. They don't respect our culture at all, but demand we respect theirs. If they still want their cultural ways, then they should stay in that culture and not try to overtake ours. (Just sayin') The Jews have a right to exist. They have a right to their land. People who support the atrocities that Hamas committed are dangerous people. Why should we trust them that they won't turn on our western nations. One of the important leaders of Hamas is having a council house in Barnet, North London, which he has purchased recently with huge discount. He is financed by the Government of Qatar, where all the leaders of Hamas now live. Thus, the British Government has two faces. I finally found the full speech. Amazing.
It took me three days to assimilate the atrocities of 7/10/2023 by Palestine Hamas against Israel and the Jewish nation. I moved between incredulity and rage before recognising the full intent of the atrocities of this cowardly and criminal acts of inhumanity.

Torn between the Faith of the Church of England or the Roman Catholic Church. I was 28 years old. I entered the Roman Catholic Church. John Paul 2 had been elected Pope.

So this must be just before he went off to Israel for a few months to be truth and eyewitness as a journalist to the atrocities that just started ... yet again.
